This week, Alan shares on what it looks like to enter the new day God is bringing us into with His Word in our mouths. Through Joshua 1 and Psalm 71, we see that faith is not only about hearing what God has said, but learning to agree with Him and declare His truth in the midst of every circumstance. The psalmist speaks hope in trouble, praise in pressure, righteousness in confusion, and revival in weariness—confident that God will raise him up and restore him again. This message invites us to become a people whose words are shaped by the promises of God, declaring His goodness over our...

This week, Joel invites us to consider what it means to live as sons and daughters who bear the testimony of Jesus with our whole lives. Through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 and Paul’s words in Acts 20, we see God forming a family across generations—sons and daughters filled with His Spirit and compelled by the incomparable worth of Jesus. Paul’s unwavering pursuit of Christ, even in the face of hardship and uncertainty, reveals the treasure he had found in Him. This message calls every generation to treasure Jesus above everything else, finish...

In John 3, Jesus tells Nicodemus that those who are born of the Spirit are like the wind—it blows wherever it pleases. We may hear its sound without knowing where it is coming from or where it is going. In this message, guest speaker Juliet Barber invites us to surrender again to the person and presence of the Holy Spirit. When God moves, He often challenges our expectations, confronts our comfort, and asks us to bend beneath the weight of His glory. Nicodemus could recognize the signs around Jesus, yet he still struggled to recognize who stood before him. In the same way, we can become so...

What does our giving say about who we trust, where we have come from, and what we believe God will do next? Drawing from Acts 4 and Deuteronomy 26, Alan explores how an offering can become a declaration of God’s deliverance, sustaining presence, and promised inheritance. Just as Israel brought the first fruits of the land God had given them, and Barnabas laid the proceeds of his field at the apostles’ feet, our giving testifies that God—not money, possessions, or our own strength—is our security. This message is an invitation to move beyond obligation or guilt and rediscover the joy of...

This week, Sam invites us into The Sound of Obedience—discovering that true worship is far more than the songs we sing. Through the story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16, we see that praise is the sound of a life surrendered, choosing trust and thanksgiving even in the midst of uncertainty and suffering. As we learn to value God’s voice above our circumstances, obedience becomes the substance of our worship, and our lives become a testimony that points others to Jesus. This message encourages us to cultivate hearts of praise, discern the leading of the Holy Spirit, and embrace the joy found...

Neil and Janet Young invite us into A New Obedience—a fresh responsiveness to the voice of God that prepares us to step into new territory. Through the story of Peter and Cornelius in Acts 10, they remind us that new territory often requires new instruction. Obedience is not simply repeating what God asked us to do before; it is listening for what the Master is saying today, even when it challenges what feels familiar, comfortable, or previously successful. This message calls us beyond an obedience built around rules, outcomes, or recognition and into a life of relational surrender....

This morning we hear from a Rising Generations high school team who have just returned from Cambodia. Sons and daughters being sent on mission—seeing salvation, seeing healing, seeing freedom, and watching people who have never heard the gospel encounter Jesus for the very first time. Their stories remind us of Acts 10, where God breaks down barriers, crosses cultures, and reveals that His heart is for every nation, every people, and every person. What we celebrate this morning is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit—God opening doors, preparing hearts, and sending ordinary people to carry...

Chris Abington invites us into the simple, life-changing practice of hearing God’s voice and responding with obedience. Through stories from family, business, city transformation, and everyday moments, Chris reminds us that God knows how to speak to each one of us because He made us. At the heart of the message are two simple questions: “Lord, what do You want me to know?” and “Lord, what do You want me to do?” As we learn to receive the Father’s love, we begin to see Him rightly, ourselves rightly, and others rightly. This message is an invitation to reject comparison,...

info_outlineAs we step into the summer season at Dwelling Place, we’re looking to Acts 13 and the pattern of God’s kingdom: before there is a sending, there is a forming.
This month, a team of our high school students is preparing to head to Cambodia. Before they go, we take time to hear from four of them—Sam, Quentin, Jacob, and Caleb—as they share their hopes, prayers, and expectations for the journey ahead.
More than that, each of them opens the Scriptures and shares what God has been speaking to them throughout this year. Their words remind us that God is not only moving in the next generation—He is speaking to them, shaping them, and speaking through them right now.
Join us as we celebrate a rising generation, explore Acts 13 together, and hear stories of faith, growth, and surrender before the sending.
Be encouraged by what God is doing in and through these young ones.
