WITH LOVE, DANIELLE
It’s deeply natural to deeply desire deep connection. In fact, we are physiologically wired for it. But when our nervous system is out of whack, we struggle to find resonance—and end up in fawning, transactional patterns that drain our life force. This week, Danielle is talking about the connection between your nervous system and your relationships. Because when you balance your nervous system, you have better relationships. She’s sharing the how-tos for getting balanced and exploring what your nervous system has to do with your emotional intimacy with everyone in your...

Danielle has never talked publicly about this. In her 20s, she was channelling “guides”—a term she uses very loosely. It all started with a Ouija board. Friends were messing with it, and she got in on the action. It’s a story about feeling special, getting in too deep, and discovering that “just because a disembodied energy comes through from the ‘other side’ doesn’t mean that it’s higher vibration than someone on the Earth plane.” It’s a story that may change how you think about spiritual guidance. In this episode: How to tell the difference between...

I think judgment of others can be a byproduct of spiritual bypassing. All us self-helpers… lean in. Basically, spiritual bypassing is when we paint negative experiences as "spiritually positive” before we’ve actually felt the very human, negative feelings. Because we are secretly judging ourselves for having not very pretty or “spiritual” emotions and experiences. And the offshoot of self recrimination is that you become really f*cking JUDGY with others. That’s one of the most harmful parts of spiritual bypassing—that everything gets categorized as either “spiritual” or...

The theme in my Heart Centered Collective this month is prosperity consciousness. And I don’t talk at all about money. And I barely touch on manifestation principles. Because… you can visualize and budget your butt off, but mental methods only work well if they ride on higher consciousness. Mentality is not consciousness. Consciousness is pure life force, prana, divinity. Consciousness is always there before we think, feel or do. Higher consciousness (“feeling” closer to the Divine, you could say,) results in better thinking and doing. So my approach to prosperity at the moment...

Waiting for karma to bite someone back? Here’s the twist… In the final installment of the What In the Woo? series, Danielle dives deep into one of the most misunderstood concepts in spirituality: karma. Far from being a cosmic punishment system, karma is the Soul’s invitation to restore balance—and it’s way more compassionate than most of us think. In this episode, Danielle unpacks the true essence of karma: the ego generates the negative, the heart creates the positive, and every experience—no matter how painful—is a chance to come back into alignment. This episode is for...

In some particular order, here’s how I attempted to entrain my only child into higher consciousness, mostly by example, but often by preaching in the kitchen while making burritos. Turns out that the kid incarnated as a wise soul, and my hot air was just some wind beneath his wings. This is for the parents, the kids, and the divine relationships that shape who we become. In this episode: Why relationships > everything The power of posture The no-BS rules around money + media How beauty, rock n’ roll, and boredom raise consciousness Oversharing, emotional fluency, and...

Today is Part 2 of the 3 part What In the Woo? Series—offering a fresh perspective on how to work with the term “Inner Child.” The Inner Child is not your younger self—it’s the wounded, emotional, shadowy part within, asking for healing. Your Inner Child isn’t you when you were 8 years old. Inner Child is a really effectual term for the part of us that hasn’t healed yet—the wounded self, the fragmented self. Interchangeable with the ego or shadow self. The part of you that gets triggered, goes into fight, flight, freeze, or fawn? That’s your Inner Child asking for...

The ego… your shadow… is a POWER PORTAL. For years, I thought I had to punish all my ego-centric’isms—manipulating to get my needs met, constant striving to burn my karma, pretending to behave. But actually? I’ve needed to assimilate… embrace… and talk sweetly to my shadows. The ego is the unhealed part of us. More precisely, “it’s the way our unhealed self acts.” It’s not a villain—it’s a pattern. And that “pattern” is always trying to protect you from heartbreak or rejection. What if, instead of saying That’s my ego I need to get in check… we just said:...
info_outlineOur 2025 Daily edition of the Heart Centered planner revived a simple exercise called the What I Trust list.
So for this episode of With Love, Danielle we are reaching back into the archives and choosing this episode as a BEST OF.
Instead of mustering bravado about things that we hope are true, root into what we viscerally know we can rely on. This is an effective way to dissolve your anxiety and balance your nervous system.
So, what do you trust?
-
Focus on the present. The point of this exercise is to access the trust that you already have. It’s unwavering and true for you. This is not about building new trust or visualizing outcomes. We’re concentrating on what is currently working.
-
Write it out. It’s helpful that your “What I Trust” List be written out, not typed up. The movement, hand to vision, helps your psyche to feel the comfort. Imagine your mind is like a lung, inhaling and exhaling as you list out what you're trusting. And/or…
-
Speak it out. If you’re an auditory-learner, speak it out. Leave yourself a voicemail, or record a voice memo on your mobile, or talk to yourself. Kindly. Do not underestimate how impactful this can be.
-
Stream your consciousness. Just let it pour out—but, again, don’t include things on your list that you don’t fully have trust in. It’s okay if your list is short—brevity is better than bravado.
-
Be really obvious if you need to be. Nothing is too great or too small to put your trust in. Sometimes the most basic things will give you a boost, especially if you’re finding it difficult to think of things that you fully trust.
Intentionally access what you know to be positive and true. That sureness builds a bridge to more Joy and power.
