Wrasslin' Raw

Why is it always entertaining seeing a man get kicked in the balls?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys view another stop in Wisconsin for Monday Night Raw, and the lawlessness continues.  Hawk is now an auxiliary member of the Legion of Doom, Kane looks more like a monster than a jobber, and the Insane Clown Posse get some time in the ring.  Steve Blackman looks great against X-Pac, but Chyna will be taking some time off.  Let’s throw Motley Crue out there too, why not?

This episode is better than sex!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take in yet another iconic Monday Night Raw, where Stone Cold Steve Austin hunts Vince McMahon for sport in the lawless city of Milwaukee.  Matches featuring the Rock, X-Pac, Steve Blackman, and the Headbangers are all afterthoughts, while Debra McMichael makes her on-screen debut supporting Jeff Jarrett.  Don’t worry Vince, you won’t feel a thing- now squeal like a pig for me!

Hold on to your wheelchair, it’s going to be a weird one!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys examine a “tweener” Pay Per View, a culmination of Stone Cold Steve Austin versus Vince McMahon, and anyone else that might fit on the card.  Matches featuring the Rock, Ken Shamrock, Mark Henry and Mankind are crowd favorites, while the return of Goldust leaves a little something to be desired.  Goodbye Rattlesnake!

In this episode of Wrasslin Raw, the boys are treated to more iconic moments between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Mr McMahon as Mr McMahon’s corvette convertible is filled with wet cement! Everyone knows that Vinnie’s got a sweet tooth! In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys are treated to another of the most iconic scenes in wrestling history: Vince McMahon’s time in the hospital. The night gets rounded out with matches from Ken Shamrock, D-Lo Brown, and Al Snow, despite the Headbangers and ICP trying to ruin the night. Mark Henry sues Chyna for sexual harassment, and we’re all invited to Goldust’s premiere next week. There’s nothing quite like the ringing of a bedpan!

Does anyone anywhere really think about the Oddities?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the fallout from the Breakdown Pay Per View, and in doing so get some of the most iconic scenes in wrestling history: scenes involving Stone Cold Steve Austin, Vince McMahon, the Undertaker, and Kane.  Val Venis pushes the limits of scumbaggery, a much-anticipated return is advertised, and Ken Shamrock has literally had promo skills concussed into him!

Who would have thought that a creep would be a heel?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys share some mixed opinions on various aspects of the Breakdown Pay Per View.  There are some very clear winners, like the Rock, and some clear losers, like Southern Justice.  In between are matches featuring Al Snow, Gangrel, D-Lo Brown, and XPac, as well as a lesser end of the spectrum with Vader and Droz.  Too Much? Not enough!

Shane, pal, you need to relax!  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys take a look at the go-home show leading into the 1998 Breakdown Pay Per View.  Getting a match with Southern Justice and the DOA is never a good thing, but X-Pac versus D-Lo Brown is always a good thing.  Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, and the Undertaker get ring time, while Mankind, the Rock, and Ken Shamrock battle it out for the #1 Contender spot.  When did Michael Cole start picking up dry cleaning?

Bonus matches on a Pay Per View, what could go wrong?  In this episode of Wrasslin’ Raw, the boys view the 1998 King of the Ring, and one of the most talked about matches of all time: the Undertaker and Mankind in the Hell in a Cell match. D-Lo Brown debuts his chest protector in a Five Star Frog Splash, and Vader continues to take a dump on the chest of existence.  Some of the finishes here are head and shoulders above the rest, but the Pittsburgh crowd is a symphony of disappointment!
