DRY RUN: A MEMOIR BY NIKKI MACCALLUM
Produced by Lambo Productions, LLC (Broadway: "A Christmas Carol," 5 Tony Nominations), DRY RUN is a 26.2 episode serial podcast that compares the challenges of running a marathon to the struggles of alcohol addiction. It's an audio version of Nikki MacCallum's memoir that was released by Auctus Publisher's in 2019 and featured on CBS. Mirroring the book's format, each episode represents a mile of the marathon MacCallum ran as a Hail Mary pass of communication to her father, a recovering alcoholic and thirty-two-time marathoner himself, after he experienced a near death relapse. With original music by Brandon James Gwinn, DRY RUN features a cast of fifty-one (Casting by Tessa Faye Talent, LLC) and is narrated by author, Nikki MacCallum. The piece is directed by Nikki MacCallum and edited and engineered by Emily Crain.
