AFTER SECTIONALS
Welcome to After Sectionals, the podcast about all things band recorded when it's fresh on our minds. We come to you from our band hall in central Texas - home of chickens and lost tuners. Join our staff (Darcy Vogt Williams, Jenna Yee, and TJ West) as we talk band pedagogy, talk smack, and everything in between right after sectionals.
AFTER THE SISTERHOOD
After The Sisterhood is where the hosts, Michelle and Rochelle, debrief about a specific The Sisterhood episode that they have filmed. They will chat like two old friends do, keeping it real, giving insights, and laughing a lot. They will drop nuggets about being a black woman in the insurance industry, going in-depth into their experience and the stories they hear.
AFTER THE STORY
This is the - AFTER THE STORY - for each paid episode where I will present a section of one of my novels which has been professionally recorded by narrator Daniela Acitelli. Each novel will be released an episode at a time and you will hear the entire book in order from beginning to end. This free - AFTER THE STORY - will post directly after each new episode where I discuss that specific section of the novel with a little (or a lot) of extra thrown in. Once one novel is done, the next one will begin. You will never be lacking for good audio book content again. AND... you will have the added benefit of this podcast discussing with you my perspective of what, who, and why I wrote it the way that I did. Get to know me and why I write the way I do and get to know the characters even better as well.
AFTERCAST: AN AUDIO COMPANION FOR THE CLASSICAL, CHARLOTTE...
For many years now, Afterthoughts has been a sort of intellectual watering hole for all of you classical, Charlotte Mason homeschooling mamas out there – I like to call you Afterthinkers. You are thinking people – idea people – who never let a good book go to waste. You keep yourselves intellectually agile by reading books, often old books, seeking out the best that has been thought and said, and mixing it into your everyday lives of laundry and dishes and dinner and long division. At Afterthoughts, we have spent over a decade nourishing our minds on theology, educational philosophy, and a million other books and subjects thrown in – all the while bringing these ideas into a direct collision course with our daily lives. Because what good is an idea if we don’t use it – live it, breathe it? As an audio companion, this podcast is a chance to hear Afterthoughts blog posts rather than read them. Couple that with some bonus content focused on books and interviews, and you’ve got AfterCast.
