In my Editor-In-Chief Era
The Big Announcement – New Magazine & Team of Bots Launch In this episode, I’m sharing two big things that have been brewing behind the scenes – and honestly, I didn’t plan to launch them at the same time, but here we are. 😉 First up: I give you a quick look at Team of Bots, my new program that helps business owners use AI to create their mini course funnel faster (more on that in a future episode when the full version launches in August). For now, we’re in beta mode, and I’m gathering feedback to make it even better. Then – the real announcement: I’m launching a digital magazine for women in business who want it all without the burnout or the “girlboss” glam. Think: cozy clothes, real talk, and actionable inspiration. ✨ The first issue of drops July 10, and it’s packed with features on business, lifestyle, and personal growth – from courses and books to retreats and parenting tips. I talk about: How the idea came to me (total lightbulb moment 💡) The mastermind group that sparked it How I took fast action (signed up for a course, hired a coach, and had a whole plan within two weeks!) Why you don’t need to have it all figured out to start something bold And how I’m dividing my business into 3 buckets: Simple Funnels (my software), Mini Courses & Coaching, and now – the Magazine This episode is part announcement, part pep talk. If you’ve been thinking about trying something new, launching a side project, or just getting creative again, I hope this inspires you to just go for it – even if you don’t know what you’re doing yet. 🎉 Launch Haus Magazine drops July 10 📰 It’s totally free to read 📌 I’ll link the subscription + Instagram in the show notes!

How to Clean Up Your Business
Hey friends! I’m back from vacation, feeling refreshed (and a little melted from this South Florida heat 😅). In this episode, I’m diving into what I’ve been working on behind the scenes this summer—including some serious business cleanup and a few new projects that are launching soon (yes, one drops before July 10 👀). Here's what we cover: 💡 Summer slowdown = business cleanup mode Time away showed me just how important it is to have solid systems and automations in place. So I’m taking the time to look at everything—offers, emails, tech, and more. 🧼 3 ways I’m cleaning up my business: Decluttering offers – Making sure everything I sell fits together and serves a clear purpose. I’m organizing my product suite and simplifying my messaging (hint: the Mini Course Funnel is the main star 🌟). Canceling unused tech + subscriptions – Going through my business credit card to cut out what I’m not using anymore. Feels so good. Organizing digital files + email sequences – Cleaning up my Google Drive, fixing links, and streamlining my email funnels. I’m also starting a YouTube channel—not to go viral, but as a free resource library for my clients. Sometimes the best way to grow is to pause, reflect, and clean house. Whether it's summer or another season of quiet, tune in to what your business needs from you right now. For me? It’s simplicity, clarity, and making everything flow easier. Let me know what your version of a business cleanup looks like—DM me anytime over on Instagram

Create Payment Pathways in your Business
This episode is a behind-the-scenes look at a very real (and dreamy) Tuesday in my online business. From a cozy two-hour nap after school drop-off to making $400 by noon, I’m walking you through what life looks like when your business has real payment pathways built in. No launches. No live calls. Just systems doing the work — even while I’m at HomeGoods or volunteering at my daughter's school. I’m also pulling back the curtain on what real passive income means (hint: it’s not selling some resale rights course you didn’t make). We’re talking true sustainability — how you can set up income systems that work for you in your sleep. Literally. And if you're curious about how AI can help speed things up, I'm a speaker at the AI Unlocked Summit with Gemma Bonham-Carter, where I’ll be showing how to build a mini course with AI. You can still grab your free ticket here: In This Episode: Why I no longer chase the “live-to-sell” hustle The 3 payment pathways that generate daily income for me: My Mini Course Funnel My Memberships My Email List The evolution (and temporary bad rep) of the term passive income How real automation can set you free What’s coming for our 5 Days of Deals starting June 9th A sneak peek at a secret (and completely free!) new project I can’t wait to launch Bonus: Want a guided roadmap to build your own payment pathways? The Real Reason Your Mini Course Isn’t Selling (And How to Fix It)
In this episode of Chill the Champagne, I’m getting real about something I see all too often — mini courses that aren’t selling… and it’s not because of the course itself. It’s the sales page. If no one ever sees the inside of your course, it’s because your sales page didn’t do its job — and today, I’m breaking down exactly how to fix that. I’m sharing three key strategies to start converting more sales: Price your mini course under $100 when selling to a cold audience — make it an easy “yes.” Build a proper sales page — not a link-filled website. It needs to guide your reader and make the transformation obvious. Keep the design clean and clear — big bold headers, short readable paragraphs, one single place to click (your checkout!). I also talk about why you should lead with your best on the sales page — because when your course truly delivers (and I know it does), that’s what turns customers into superfans. Plus, I give a little behind-the-scenes look at what’s happening in my world — like my class in the AI Unlocked 2025 Summit, the surprise six-week coaching intensive I launched on a whim, and a brand new (super creative!) project that’s lighting me up right now — even if no one knows about it yet. Not even my inner circle. This episode is your permission slip to stop gripping your business so tightly and let some magic in. If you’re feeling stuck, maybe it’s time to shift gears and follow the spark. Oh — and if you’d love a free live workshop on creating a high-converting sales page, message me on Instagram (@theangiestarr) and let me know!

How to go after your dreams even if your scared
This week’s episode is a special one — I’m joined by my 13-year-old daughter, Stella! 💗 Stella just went through a super intense audition process for a competitive performing arts high school, and we’re breaking it all down. From prepping monologues and mock interviews to facing a 20% acceptance rate, Stella took complete ownership of the process — and it reminded me of how much we, as adults, can learn from this kind of boldness. We chat about: What it’s like to attend a middle school of the arts (yes, they have “majors” like acting!) The real mindset shifts that helped her prep and stay grounded through rejection risk Why surrounding yourself with community + coaching is a total game-changer (even for teens!) How this all ties back to business, bravery, and going after your big goals — even when it’s scary If you’ve been waiting for the "perfect" moment to launch something, hire a coach, or try something new… let this episode inspire you to just go for it. Rejection is redirection. Courage is a skill. And the kids? They might just be leading the way. 💫

I cracked the code for Social media and emails
I just got my bookkeeping back, and whoa—turns out I made an extra $100K in profit last year… and most of it came in the last quarter. Honestly? I was a little shocked. But I know exactly what made it happen. In this episode, I’m spilling all the details on how I layered paid ads, emails, and social content without drowning in content creation or turning into a full-time marketer. If you’ve ever felt like content is too much work, or that you’re just not “good” at social media—this one’s for you. I’m diving into: How paid ads are the lifeblood of my business (even when they "don’t work") What I was doing wrong with my email list for years How I completely shifted my strategy and started making money from almost every email I send Why social media is the front door, but your email list is where the real magic happens The low-effort system I use to get 3 emails + 3 social posts created in minutes using AI How I semi-outsource (hint: I’m not spending $5k/month on a team—and you don’t have to either) I also give you a sneak peek at something I’ve been building behind the scenes… 🎉 It’s called The Content Club, and it’s launching April 1st. Inside, I’m handing over my exact system—the one that helped me finally stay consistent on social and in my inbox (without doing all the work myself). Think: ✅ AI prompts that actually sound like you ✅ Faceless reels, pre-written captions, and swipeable content ✅ My plug-and-play marketing calendar ✅ How to outsource just enough to stay visible without burning out And if you’re listening to this podcast? Is Working Fast the Key to success?

Is Working Fast the Key to success?
In this episode, I’m sharing my journey from being a photographer to building a thriving online course business. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned? Working fast is the key to success. While I struggle with ADHD and sometimes my brain moves faster than my fingers can type, I’ve come to realize that this fast-paced way of thinking has been a huge advantage in the online business world. When I created my first mini course, I spent months perfecting it, thinking it would be the one course that changed everything. It didn’t take off the way I had hoped, but I didn’t let that stop me. I took what I learned and launched Photography Business Boot Camp—but this time, instead of months, I built it in just a few weeks. And when my sales page wasn’t converting the way I wanted, I got feedback from a coach and had a brand-new page up and running within a day. That’s when I realized: working fast isn’t about rushing—it’s about testing, learning, and adjusting quickly. I see this same quality in my entrepreneur friends, like Megan, who quickly implements ideas without second-guessing herself. We were brainstorming ways to boost her membership, and within hours, she had announced a contest, set up Instagram stories, and put her plan into action. That’s the kind of speed that leads to success! I recently had another lightning-bolt idea for a new membership and immediately reached out to my friend Allie, who I knew would be the perfect person to run it. Within weeks, we mapped everything out, set a launch date, and even finalized the branding. Instead of overthinking, we took action. That’s what moves the needle in business. The truth is, nothing I’ve ever launched has stayed exactly the same as it was on day one. Every offer evolves as I get feedback and make improvements. If I had waited until everything was perfect, I would have failed slowly instead of learning fast. That’s why I encourage you to work fast, test things out, pivot quickly, and trust yourself. So here’s your permission to take action today. Don’t let fear hold you back—because success is inevitable when you keep moving forward.

How to Sharpen your Marketing Skills with One Site
Today on Chill the Champagne, we’re diving into a game-changing marketing hack that can help you sell more—without reading every marketing book on the planet. If you’ve ever felt stuck trying to market your online course, membership, or offer, this episode is for you. Here’s the reality: we’re not just course creators or entrepreneurs—we’re all marketers. No matter what you sell, marketing comes first. So if you’ve poured your heart into creating something amazing, but it’s just sitting there collecting dust, it’s time to change that. In this episode, I share my #1 place to learn marketing fast—and it might surprise you. It’s YouTube! But not in the way you think. Instead of watching marketing tutorials, I study video titles and thumbnails from the best YouTubers out there. These creators are masters at grabbing attention because they’re competing for free views in a crowded space. Their headlines and hooks are goldmines of marketing wisdom that you can apply to your own business. I break down exactly how to use this strategy to sharpen your marketing edge. Whether you’re looking at content in your niche or completely unrelated industries (like dieting or finance), you can tweak those high-performing hooks to create powerful headlines, email subject lines, social media posts, and sales page copy. Marketing isn’t just about running ads—it’s about positioning and visibility. And once you start studying these winning YouTube strategies, you’ll begin to see a difference in how people engage with your offers. So, here’s your homework: spend 10 minutes a day on YouTube, scan the top-performing videos in any niche, and take note of their titles. You’ll start to recognize patterns and learn what makes people click—so you can apply it to your own business. How to Create Low Lift Assets in your Business
02/18/2025
How to Create Low Lift Assets in your Business
, I want to talk about what it means to have something in your business that’s low lift. This actually came up in my membership, Prep School, when someone asked about podcasting. And I told her—for me—podcasting is such a low-lift activity with a great return. But then she asked, “Well, what does low lift even mean?” So here’s my take. Low lift means I can do it easily, without a ton of setup or effort, and it still pays off big time. For example, my podcast? I literally speak into my phone for 10-15 minutes, sometimes with a planned topic—like launching a program or pushing people into Prep School or an ads course—but other times, I just talk about whatever’s on my mind or what people keep asking me. There’s no fancy setup. Sometimes I record in my car, sometimes in my office, and yes, sometimes even from my bed. Once I’ve recorded, I drop the file into Descript. I love Descript because I can use Studio Sound to clean up the audio and remove all my "ums" with just one button. Then, I quickly add my intro and outro, and upload it to Libsyn, which is super easy—just drag, drop, type a short summary (or use AI for that), add links, and hit publish. From there, my assistant or I create an email, social media posts, and an audiogram to share. It might sound like a lot, but really? The whole process takes 45 minutes tops. And that’s why it’s a low-lift activity in my business—minimal effort, consistent impact. Another example of a low-lift product? Workshops. I’ve been running workshops since day one, and while I’m known for mini courses, workshops are a simple way to deliver value with minimal ongoing effort. You create them once, they live on your website, in your emails, on social media—constantly working for you. And with AI, it’s even faster. I can map out a workshop in minutes, make the slides, record, and upload it. Done. Low-lift strategies like this keep me moving fast, and that’s been key to my success. So if you’re overcomplicating things—thinking you need a podcast studio or a 3-hour live workshop with 1,000 people—stop. Keep it simple. The goal is to create things that don’t drain your time but still bring results. Oh! One last thing—I’ve started a private podcast inside Prep School. It’s raw, unedited, and straight from my phone—because again, low lift! Members can ask me business questions, and I’ll respond with a voice note-style podcast. No intro, no outro, just straight answers. So, if you’re looking for ways to simplify your business while still growing, think about what you can make low lift. Trust me—it pays off.

How to create a Free Workshop that people Love!
peoples attention spans are getting shorter and free content is growing. We all know webinars got too long, and people now want real value fast. So instead, create a short, under-one-hour workshop that highlights a key problem, teaches three micro topics from your offer, and naturally leads into your paid program. You can run it live for higher conversions, set it up as an evergreen funnel, or give it a launch date for urgency. I’ve done this and even had a workshop sitting on my website, converting at 5% without any ads! So if you have a course or membership collecting dust, this is your way to bring it back to life. I’m creating a mini course on this soon, but in the meantime, start mapping it out.

Should you hire a Business coach?
In this episode, I’m diving into my personal journey with hiring business coaches and joining coaching containers. I’ll share my experiences with two very different high-ticket programs—one that was a complete disaster and another that truly changed the game for me. After taking a long break from coaching containers and embracing what I call the “University of Me”—self-paced learning through books, podcasts, and courses—I recently decided to invest in a year-long program. I’ll talk about why I made this decision, what I’m hoping to gain, and how it aligns with my dream of building a low-ticket, high-volume business. I’m also breaking down three key questions to ask yourself before hiring a coach or joining a program: Does the program align with your goals and challenges? Do you resonate with the coach’s teaching style and values? Are you ready to commit fully—both financially and with your time? If you’ve ever wondered whether coaching is worth it—or if you’ve had good or bad experiences with containers—this episode is for you. Let’s talk about what to look for, what to avoid, and how to make the most of these investments.

Three books to read over the holiday break
Check out 3 books this holiday break that can change everything for your life and business. 1. 100 Million Dollar Offers by Alex Hermosi: This isn't your average fluff-filled marketing book. Hermosi lays it all out – no holds barred – on how to craft offers so compelling people practically beg to buy. He shares strategies that work across the board, whether you're selling freebies, low-ticket mini-courses, or high-ticket programs. Seriously, the guy's a straight shooter, and I appreciate that. I even use his School platform for my membership because of the killer Monday coaching calls – pure gold! Summary: A no-nonsense guide to creating irresistible offers that convert. My Thoughts: Straightforward, practical, and works for any offer type. 2. The Happy Pocket Full of Money by David R. Hamilton (with a foreword by Bob Doyle): This isn't just about making more money; it's about shifting your entire relationship with wealth. The book tackles those pesky mental blocks around money – the fear of change, the feeling of unworthiness – and helps you reframe your thinking. It’s made a huge difference for me, helping me realize money is just energy, and you can create abundance without drastically altering your life. Summary: A mindset shift towards wealth and abundance. My Thoughts: A game-changer, especially if you’re transitioning from trading time for money to building an online empire. (I've read it at least three times!) 3. Designing Your Life: How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans: This book isn't strictly business-focused, but it’s a critical companion for anyone looking to design a fulfilling life. It applies design thinking principles to crafting a career path that truly resonates. I'm currently reading this one, and so far, I'm totally hooked. It’s perfect for anyone feeling a bit lost or unsure about their next career move, regardless of age. Summary: A practical guide to designing your career and life using design thinking. My Thoughts: Highly recommended, especially for career transitions and long-term planning (I'm already planning to have my husband read it!) I'm taking a break for the holidays, but I'll be back in January with a refreshed perspective and big plans for 2025. One of those plans involves a massive revamp of Prep School, my membership community. I'm creating a foundational marketing course – think blueprint for online success – that will help you build your business strategically from the ground up. It’s going to be amazing, launching January 1st! Join me inside today to be the first to see it!

My recent five-day (well really 6) sales blitz, inspired by Gemma Bottom Carter's program, generated $11,535! I leveraged a nurtured email list (12,354 subscribers!) and a simple one-page sales strategy featuring five daily offers, culminating in a Cyber Monday blowout. Each day showcased a different product: Simple Funnels software, my membership course, the brand-new List Building Blueprint, a marketing bundle, and another membership push. While I aimed for $10,000-$20,000, the results highlight the power of targeted email marketing and the scalability of digital product sales.. The List Building Blueprint, a course teaching email list nurturing, is now available to help you achieve similar success.

5 ways to double your revenue next year
Last week during our Q&A session in the Prep School community, I discussed with a student the growth strategies for her mini course funnel. We explored the concept of stability in an online business, focusing on low-ticket, passive income avenues. I emphasized the importance of diversifying business strategies beyond a single funnel to ensure stability and resilience against potential setbacks like ad failures or market changes. We talked about structuring a business with multiple support pillars—such as memberships, email lists, and ways that allow for scalability without demanding more time. These discussions aim to help members envision and build their "dream business," which balances revenue growth with personal commitments, especially important for those like my student who is a busy parent of twins. These courses will be for sale next week for Black Friday!

My plan to scale to 100k months
Absolutely! Over the past year and a half, I've been hovering around the $20K to $40K per month revenue mark, but I'm setting my sights on achieving $100K months through low-ticket, stress-free strategies. My approach avoids high-ticket, time-consuming coaching by focusing on automations and selling mini courses, aiming for ample personal time and operational efficiency. To optimize my business, I'm enhancing the backend of my sales funnels to improve upselling and customer retention through timed offers and deeper integration of my offerings.

Create a Cash Injection Black Friday Week

Create a Cash Injection Black Friday Week
I used to think Black Friday was just about big box stores and holiday shopping. But it's a game-changer for online course businesses! People are primed to spend, and a well-timed sale can really boost your revenue. Here are three ways to run a BF sale- a simple coupon code, a bundled course offer, and a five-day, five-deal blitz. I'll be using my email list as my primary sales channel, and I'm even considering shutting off my ads for the week to avoid getting lost in the noise. Here's the breakdown: Coupon Code: Easy peasy! Offer a percentage off on all your courses, and simply send out a coupon code to your email list. Bundle Offer: Package your courses together with a discounted price. This is great for getting more products into the hands of your audience. This is my personal favorite! It's a bit more work, but it can be a real game-changer. I'll be running one sale each day for five days, with each product on sale for just 24 hours. The key is to start planning now. Get your emails written, sales pages set up, and everything organized. And remember, even if you don't do anything elaborate this year, you can use it as a learning experience for next year. I'm so excited to see how this all unfolds! DM me on Instagram and let me know what Black Friday sales you're running. I'd love to hear your ideas and share some tips. Remember, you can check out my free resources in the show notes. And if you love the podcast, leave a five-star rating! It really helps.

Key Takeaways from Attending an In person Retreat.
In this podcast episode, I share my transformative experience my first in-person retreat with my coach, Taylor Lee, in Orlando, Florida. Stepping out of my usual solitary work routine as an online entrepreneur was refreshing and energizing. The retreat offered vibrant networking opportunities and a chance to be inspired by like-minded individuals. I found immense value in refining my elevator pitch and engaging in open discussions about business figures, which fueled my motivation to strive for my goal of achieving a six-figure month. I now truly appreciate the power of in-person interactions and encourage others to attend similar events for the unexpected benefits and meaningful connections that arise. If you’ve had similar experiences, I'd love for you to share them with me on Instagram.
