175. Why This Author's Children's Books Are Captivating Adults | Anthony DeStefano
What does it really mean to pray for a miracle, and why do sincere prayers sometimes seem to go unanswered? In this episode, I sit down with Anthony DeStefano to explore faith, prayer, miracles, and the tension many Christians feel between trust in God and disappointment when outcomes don’t unfold as hoped. We talk about how miracles are understood in Christian theology, why anxiety can quietly undermine faith, and how prayer often requires holding paradoxes at the same time—action and surrender, courage and fear, precision and openness to God’s will. Anthony draws from decades of writing, teaching, and theological reflection to offer a grounded, compassionate framework for praying with honesty, peace, and perseverance, even in suffering. If you’ve ever struggled with unanswered prayer or wondered how faith works in real life, I invite you to listen, reflect, and share your thoughts in the comments—and don’t forget to subscribe for more thoughtful conversations on faith, meaning, and the inner life. 162. He Replaced Medication With Meat — And It Worked | Hal Cranmer
What if we’ve been feeding cognitive decline—literally? In this episode, I explore the hidden connection between dementia, diet, and aging with Hal Kramer, a former US Air Force Special Operations pilot turned assisted living innovator. After careers in aviation and real estate, Hal entered the senior care world and discovered a disturbing pattern: elderly residents, often forgotten and overmedicated, were being fed processed food that accelerated their decline. So he did something radical—he changed their food and lifestyle instead of increasing medication. Together, we talk about the link between insulin resistance and Alzheimer’s, the healing power of resistance training, and how one man in a wheelchair walked out of Hal’s home after just seven months of clean eating and exercise. This conversation made me rethink how we treat the elderly, what healing really looks like, and how much more is possible—at any age. 152. Why Fewer Women Are Becoming Mothers | Stephen Shaw
This episode was recorded on March 3 2025. In this episode, I speak with Stephen Shaw, creator of *The Birth Gap* documentary, about one of the most pressing but unspoken issues of our time—declining birth rates, rising childlessness, and the loneliness that follows. We explore why so many women are delaying motherhood, how career and cultural messaging are influencing family choices, and why young people aren't being told the truth about fertility. Stephen’s research spans over 24 countries, and what he’s found is both heartbreaking and urgent. If you’ve ever wondered why fewer people are having children, or what this means for the future of families, this conversation is for you.
