Alida Hernandez is a first-generation American journalist and media entrepreneur, and Editor-in-Chief of Spanglish Entertainment LLC, a media company she founded in 2024, covering Brevard to Miami-Dade County, Florida. Born in New York City to Puerto Rican musicians, she began her career in IT with roles at CBS, Disney, and Harris Corporation before shifting to media. She founded Alida Promo in 2012 and Nuestro Magazine in 2013, interviewing notable figures such as Emilio Estefan and Phil Collins, and appeared on major Spanish-language TV networks. She also manages a Salsa orchestra, supports women in music, and hosts the podcast Rebooted Mindset.
