MAGA Wish Foundation, News Update, October 10, 2025
Butler vane and Axiom tackle the damn news together. First though, we catch up a little bit on the weather and some spectacular hijinx. From there we cover briefly the tenuous ceasefire agreement in Gaza. We pivot from that into a discussion of the Nobel peace prize and the new lady guaido on the block. Then we break down our thoughts on AI and its looming bubble before getting into one of our favorite dead horses, the ol' donkey itself: the Democratic Party. Zohran for mayor Inshallah! Jerks Progress Administration, News Update, October 12, 2025
In this episode we try to give you a run down of the goings on in the declining empire by starting off with some lighter fare about gruesome Gavin and the weather. We then briefly cover the tepid optimism around the most recent ceasefire and the strange choice of Tony Blair to oversee it. We also try to put in our final words on that awful thing that happened that everyone’s already done talking about. From there we delve into some of the most annoying characters globally in the Trump orbit and who gets to be on the side benefitting from neocolonialism. As usual we dog on the democrats although producer Vane must field accusations of having a libbed up algorithm before we get into the ultimate digression. #releasethefeet #releasethefiles Check out our “Hell on the beach” series about Florida and check us out Bluesky @brokenwindpod @butlersghost Our intro and outro theme music are from the song "Sardines" by the band Stella Starfox. Hell on the Beach (Florida Series) Part 1: Endangered Species

Hell on the Beach (Florida Series) Part 1: Endangered Species
We're very excited to release the first episode of our long-form podcast series on the history of Florida, where we will providing an in-depth analysis of the book Finding Florida by T. D. Allman. In the first of hopefully several long-form history series, The Broken Wind Podcast will be teaching the methodology of historical materialism, an invaluable tool for making history "come to life", and they will be correcting many of the founding myths about Florida and the United States which are often taken for granted as truth, such as the story of Ponce de Leon and the Fountain of Youth. By telling the true story of Florida, much can be understood about the true story of the US, and this is the reason why we are planning to release these long-form series. Our hosts believe that when you understand how a smaller story fits within the context of a larger story, such as how the story of Florida fits within the context of the story of America, history suddenly becomes much more than just a series of disconnected and seemingly unrelated dates. Our goal with this series is to tell the history of Florida in a way that is both refreshing and exciting, and we think you will be surprised to find that under the 2nd Trump administration, this story is only becoming ever more relevant with the passage of time. This is our most ambitious project yet, and although it will be modeled after other popular history podcast series such as Hell of Presidents, Hell on Earth and Blowback, and although we will be using the book Finding Florida as our spiritual guide, we also believe that we will have plenty of our own unique thoughts and insights to contribute along the way. We will do our best to promote this series and that's why we plan to make this first episode available for free, but then we will likely only release episodes to our Patreon subscribers on the MAXED OUT DEAL, which costs $5 per month. If you want to get the earliest possible access to the Florida series, as well as all of the rest of our content, make sure you are subscribed and you will be notified immediately whenever new episodes are released. (click the following link to visit our Patreon): We hope you enjoy listening to this series as much as we have enjoyed producing it for you! If you like the work we're doing, please like, comment, subscribe or just share us with your friends. Anything you can do to support the show will help keep us keep the content flowing! Our intro and outro theme music are from the song "Sardines" by the band Stella Starfox. You can find them on Apple Music and Spotify, and check out the full song here. The Demure News, News Update, August 10, 2025
The dynamic duo reunites once again to chew and digest the disgusting slop of news that we are all being being fed at a nauseating pace. We make sure to take on the most important issues head on; Sydney Sweeney's controversial ad and the tyranny of hot white women. Then from there we pivot around many times on the subjects of, history, labor, the damn democrats, and just generally what’s going on in the damn news. Per usual we’re behind on everything but we appreciate your praise and reserve the right to disregard all criticism! We round the episode out by extending an extremely sincere and diplomatic invitation to all of the democratic bench for the 2024 election Slotkin, Buttgieg, we love what you’re up to and we promise we can help you win over “the kids”! Epstein Ain't Going Away, News Update, July 24, 2025
Well, we HAD a huge interview lined up with a major world leader but It SEEMS like everyone would be mad at us for doing that! So instead Vane and butler hop on the mic last minute and we come out with our rhetorical guns blazing, firing off shots at all these clown ass podcasters out here humiliating themselves. This includes: the co-FBI director power duo of marks, (including a digression into “spygate”) the Nelk boys, Tim Dillon, the PBD crew and Candance Owens. We then spend 40+ minutes Dovetailing off of each other like a couple of majestic doves on the general subject of the ever spiraling Jeffrey Epstein Saga of Trump 2.0. Stay tuned to the end if you haven’t heard about the literary career of Donald Barr! Free Palestine, end the genocide. Epstein didn’t kill himself, and he ain’t going away! Yes... More War, News Update, June 27, 2025
Your hosts Vane and Butler hop on the mic together once again to get through the staggering amount of new developments since last speaking. First going through some of the horrible and hilarious. From the awful Minnesota shooting to the hilariously poorly attended birthday parade. We then dig into the “the 12 day war” and the near nuclear war we just all lived through. And finally we exchange our galaxy gas for Hopium as we discuss the Zohran Mamdani victory in NY. We wish him all the best! And I guess the Supreme Court is back on their BS, but we chose to leave most of the legal talk up to the lawyers. In the end, we both can agree that when it comes to right-wing populism, "No More War" always means "Yes More War"! The boys brace themselves for rapid unscheduled disassembly during this week's news update. In this episode we hopefully round the corner on the subject of Elon Musk as we cover his extended crash out and tiff with the POTUS. We discuss at length the DOGE pestilence and its consequences which we will likely never be rid of. We cover one particular externality of the DOGE austerity and increasing pariah status of the US at length. By that I mean, we ask the question: what if the country was ravaged by flesh eating bugs? We then cover more of the hilarious Epstein apologia that was already in progress on Rogan when Elon “dropped the bomb” and we also take a second to analyze the various chemical cocktails of Elon and other public Trump allies. Our intro and outro theme music are from the song "Sardines" by the band Stella Starfox. You can find them on Apple Music and Spotify, and check out the full song here. Press Pool Cess Pool, News Update, May 25, 2025
Butler is MIA, so Vane and Crocus formed a skeleton crew to navigate through the late May news cycle. They start by reflecting on how America is really in its boss baby era and then Vane repeatedly digresses off about the fall of the Soviet Union and how the DNC is like a Jerry-tocracy, or something along those lines. They also can't help but mix up their "Bernie would have won" and "weekend at Bernie's" metaphors. Vane also repeatedly confuses Jerry Nadler and Jerry Connolly, but he can probably be forgiven for the confusion since the only difference is that one recently died and the other pooped himself in public, which kind of also proves the point that congress is really old.
