Butler vane and Axiom tackle the damn news together. First though, we catch up a little bit on the weather and some spectacular hijinx. From there we cover briefly the tenuous ceasefire agreement in Gaza. We pivot from that into a discussion of the Nobel peace prize and the new lady guaido on the block. Then we break down our thoughts on AI and its looming bubble before getting into one of our favorite dead horses, the ol' donkey itself: the Democratic Party. Zohran for mayor Inshallah! Our intro and outro theme music are from the song "Sardines" by the band Stella Starfox. You can find them...

In this episode we try to give you a run down of the goings on in the declining empire by starting off with some lighter fare about gruesome Gavin and the weather. We then briefly cover the tepid optimism around the most recent ceasefire and the strange choice of Tony Blair to oversee it. We also try to put in our final words on that awful thing that happened that everyone’s already done talking about. From there we delve into some of the most annoying characters globally in the Trump orbit and who gets to be on the side benefitting from neocolonialism. As usual we dog on the democrats...

We're very excited to release the first episode of our long-form podcast series on the history of Florida, where we will providing an in-depth analysis of the book Finding Florida by T. D. Allman. In the first of hopefully several long-form history series, The Broken Wind Podcast will be teaching the methodology of historical materialism, an invaluable tool for making history "come to life", and they will be correcting many of the founding myths about Florida and the United States which are often taken for granted as truth, such as the story of Ponce de Leon and the Fountain of Youth. By...

This is the first topical discussion that we've released on the free news feed, but there are many more like it! If you want access to so many more unreleased discussions on topics like the protestant reformation, the origins of money, the history of the GOP, subscribe to our Maxed Out Deal on Patreon for $5 per month. In this very special topical episode we get the whole gang together to do kind of a mega ep about the field of Anthropology. We ask questions like: what the heck is anthropology? Why anthropology? Who friggin' cares? Then we get the skull calipers out to discuss the various...

The dynamic duo reunites once again to chew and digest the disgusting slop of news that we are all being being fed at a nauseating pace. We make sure to take on the most important issues head on; Sydney Sweeney's controversial ad and the tyranny of hot white women. Then from there we pivot around many times on the subjects of, history, labor, the damn democrats, and just generally what’s going on in the damn news. Per usual we’re behind on everything but we appreciate your praise and reserve the right to disregard all criticism! We round the episode out by extending an extremely...

Well, we HAD a huge interview lined up with a major world leader but It SEEMS like everyone would be mad at us for doing that! So instead Vane and butler hop on the mic last minute and we come out with our rhetorical guns blazing, firing off shots at all these clown ass podcasters out here humiliating themselves. This includes: the co-FBI director power duo of marks, (including a digression into “spygate”) the Nelk boys, Tim Dillon, the PBD crew and Candance Owens. We then spend 40+ minutes Dovetailing off of each other like a couple of majestic doves on the general...

By telling the true story of Florida, much can be understood about the true story of the US, and this is the reason why we are planning to release these long-form series. Our hosts believe that when you understand how a smaller story fits within the context of a larger story, such as how the story of Florida fits within the context of the story of America, history suddenly becomes much more than just a series of disconnected and seemingly unrelated dates. Our goal with this series is to tell the history of Florida in a way that is both refreshing and exciting, and we think you will be surprised to find that under the 2nd Trump administration, this story is only becoming ever more relevant with the passage of time.
This is our most ambitious project yet, and although it will be modeled after other popular history podcast series such as Hell of Presidents, Hell on Earth and Blowback, and although we will be using the book Finding Florida as our spiritual guide, we also believe that we will have plenty of our own unique thoughts and insights to contribute along the way.
We will do our best to promote this series and that's why we plan to make this first episode available for free, but then we will likely only release episodes to our Patreon subscribers on the MAXED OUT DEAL, which costs $5 per month. If you want to get the earliest possible access to the Florida series, as well as all of the rest of our content, make sure you are subscribed and you will be notified immediately whenever new episodes are released.
