Do you ever feel too small to dream BIG? "In this episode, I want to go over a list of things I call “dream stoppers”. These are things that make you feel small and stop you from making progress on what matters most to you, what keeps you from not just reaching, but even getting started on your journey to make those big dreams happen. If you don’t have something big to dream for than you are simply living and nothing else. If you are ok with that, than that’s fine. That’s completely up to you. However, if you want to do something meaningful then you must remember that you only have one chance to do it. So, I want to ask you today, what’s keeping you from taking the leap to get started? I want to know if any of these “dream stoppers” are getting in your way and what you can do about it. Quote of the week: "Do not wait; the time will never be just right. Low Self-Worth- Some individuals don’t believe they’re worthy of big dreams or success. 2. Chronic Illness or Health Struggles- Health challenges can consume a person’s time, energy, and emotional resources. 3. Caretaking Responsibilities- Many people are deeply committed to caring for others—children, aging parents, or sick partners. 4. Financial Pressure- Economic insecurity can make dream-chasing feel unrealistic or even irresponsible. 5. Past Trauma- Unresolved trauma, especially from childhood, can create powerful mental and emotional blocks. 6. Cultural Expectations- In some families or cultures, dreaming beyond traditional roles is discouraged. 7. Emotional Burnout- When someone has experienced prolonged stress or emotional exhaustion, they often lack the energy to dream. 8. Limiting Beliefs from Childhood- Many people absorb disempowering beliefs early in life, such as “dreams don’t pay the bills” or “you’re not creative.” 9. Comparison to Others- Constantly comparing themselves to more successful, attractive, or confident people can crush a person’s motivation. 10. Fear of Judgment- Worrying about what others will think can be a huge barrier. 11. Past Failures- People who have tried and failed in the past may carry emotional wounds that keep them from trying again. 12. Lack of Role Models- If someone has never seen anyone like them succeed, it’s harder to believe they can. 13. Mental Health Struggles- Anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges can distort how a person sees themselves and the world. 14. Unresolved Grief- Losing a loved one can cause people to put their dreams on hold—sometimes indefinitely. 15. Lack of Support System- Pursuing a dream can be lonely, especially without encouragement from others. 16. Rowling – Single Mom on Welfare Rejected by 12 publishers, Rowling finally found one who believed in Harry Potter. She became the first billionaire author, inspiring a generation. 6. Jim Carrey – Homeless and Hopeful He lived in a van and worked as a janitor. He wrote himself a check for $10 million. Ten years later, he was paid that exact amount for Dumb and Dumber. 7. Walt Disney – Fired for Lack of Imagination Disney was fired from a newspaper and had a failed animation studio. He kept going and eventually created a global entertainment empire. 8. Oprah Winfrey – Declared Unfit for TV Early on, Oprah was told she didn’t belong on television. She went on to become the most influential talk show host in history. 9. Colonel Sanders – 1,009 Rejections At 65, he drove around the country trying to sell his chicken recipe. He was rejected 1,009 times before someone said yes. That’s how KFC was born. 10. Steven Spielberg – Rejected 3 Times Rejected from film school multiple times, Spielberg didn’t stop. He became one of the most acclaimed directors in history. 11. Fred Smith – Gambled FedEx into Survival After being told his business idea was impractical, Fred gambled FedEx's last $5,000 in Vegas—and won. That win kept the company alive long enough to become a logistics legend. 12. Soichiro Honda – Rejected by Toyota After being turned down by Toyota, he built his own scooters. That garage project became Honda Motor Co. 13. Stephen King – Carrie Almost Trashed Carrie was rejected 30 times. King threw it in the trash—his wife rescued it. The book launched his epic writing career. 14. Vera Wang – Late Bloomer Turned Icon Passed over at Vogue and Olympic dreams crushed, Wang started her design career at 40. Now she’s a fashion legend. 15. Elon Musk – Slept in His Office Musk poured everything into Tesla and SpaceX, including sleeping in the factory. Both companies almost failed—but today, they’re world-changers. 16. Richard Branson – Dyslexic Dropout Branson dropped out at 16 and launched Virgin from a church basement. Now, his brand spans 400 companies. 17. Bethany Hamilton – Shark Attack Survivor After losing her arm in a shark attack, Bethany was back on her surfboard within a month—and later won international championships. 18. Milton Hershey – Multiple Bankruptcies Hershey failed multiple times, then found success with caramel—and later, chocolate. His name is now synonymous with sweet success. 19. Aristotle Onassis – From 25 Cents to Tycoon Onassis arrived in the U.S. with just 25 cents. He learned business through eavesdropping while working as a phone operator when you’re young man. He saw opportunities and invested in tobacco and then shipping, among other things he later expanded to and became one of the richest men in the world. 20. Mike Micalowicz- from the top of the world to the bottom of the valley and backup- After selling his company for millions that had just earlier investigated the Enron scandal Mike lost all of his money in a matter of one year. He has since proceeded to not only recover, he has written 11 books and continues to write and has several extremely successful companies he now profitably leads. If these stories prove anything, it’s that rejection isn’t the end—it’s the invitation. Hardship isn’t defeat—it’s the training ground. And when the world says no, you still get to say yes. It involved a young man by the name of Shedeur Sanders who’s father is a wildly famous hall of fame football player and how his son was drafted very late in the NFL draft. If you’re going to achieve your dreams, confidence is a must. But how do you get it? How can you keep it once you have it? Confidence will ebb and flow, go up and down, some days you have more and other days you’ll have less. That’s normal. But it is true that you will need it to move forward. Confidence is a skill and the good thing about it is that it can be learned. So today we can look at how you can grow your confidence and keep moving forward making those dreams come true. As a dream realization partner, today I will be going over tips on how to do this. Which one resonates most with you? Quote of the week: "You have plenty of courage, I am sure," answered Oz. "All you need is confidence in yourself. There is no living thing that is not afraid when it faces danger. The true courage is in facing danger when you are afraid, and that kind of courage you have in plenty."― L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Points covered: 1. The first tip is to be your own role model: be prouder yourself, live your values every day. 2. Express yourself: share what you think and feel with others. Unless you speak up no one will be able to hear you. Don’t drown the inner voice and you and bottle it up. 3. Challenge yourself: if you’ve been hearing me for a while you know I’ve said repeatedly to expand your comfort zone. In order to do this you have to stretch yourself, persevere above everything else and overcome obstacles. 4. Only your opinions about you matter! The truth is that what other people think about you is not your business. I have told my adult self that more times than I can possibly count. 5. No more negative self-talk: this ties into the previous point. When you pay attention to the negativity that others either say or you think they are saying is going to lead to negative self-talk. 6. Forgive your mistakes: does no such thing as failure, only learning. Failures if you never learn something from it. 7. You are awesome! You’re also only one-person, unique, once-in-a-lifetime creation! There will never be another you because you are only you and no one else can be like you. 8. Don’t waste energy comparing yourself to others: like I said in the past you looking someone else’s front stage as what they are performing. 9. In today’s episode, I will be exploring something from my law enforcement days that directly ties into today’s topic. It’s a way to describe a type of mindset that someone is in at any given time. It’s a way to describe where someone’s mindset is at any given time. We will all experience any of these five at any given point. As with everything else, it’s the extremes that we need to be careful with as you will shortly see once I explain each one. Mindset is so important in everything we do. In achieving your dream this is crucial. Mindset is practically everything! So more about this on the other side. Quote of the week: No matter what, you got to come in, and you got to continue to work, continue to have that mindset to get better every single day. Condition White – Completely Checked Out Mindset/Emotional State: In this state, the person is disconnected from their surroundings and often from themselves. There may be a sense of numbness, apathy, or escapism, where the person avoids reality or uncomfortable truths. Impact on Dream Achievement: At this level, pursuing dreams is nearly impossible. People in Condition White often aren't aware they have a dream, or they’ve buried it so deep it doesn’t feel relevant. There's no active engagement with their goals, no self-reflection, and no action. They may not even recognize that they're dissatisfied because they're so disconnected from purpose. Support Strategies: Helping someone in this state requires compassionate awakening. Start with gentle awareness-building: daily check-ins, mindfulness exercises, or simple journaling prompts like “What makes you feel alive?” 2. Condition Orange – Somewhat Aware of Surroundings Mindset/Emotional State: Here, the person is starting to tune in. They know something feels off or that they want more, but clarity is fuzzy. There's curiosity but also hesitation. Emotionally, they may feel restlessness, slight anxiety, or even frustration from knowing they should be doing more but aren’t sure how. Impact on Dream Achievement: In Condition Orange, people may start setting vague goals or talk about change, but they struggle to create consistency. They might dabble—read a few books, sign up for a course, or journal sporadically—but rarely follow through. Support Strategies: This is a good place to introduce structured self-awareness tools like vision exercises, values identification, or guided coaching conversations. Help them explore what they want without judgment. Introduce decision-making frameworks that allow them to compare options without overwhelm. 3. Condition Yellow – Somewhat Aware of Surroundings (but More Engaged) Mindset/Emotional State: This state reflects relaxed alertness. The person is more tuned in to their goals and starting to create consistent awareness around what they want and why. There's growing confidence and more frequent engagement in self-reflection. Emotionally, they’re motivated, open to feedback, and starting to stretch beyond their comfort zone. Impact on Dream Achievement: Condition Yellow is a fertile space for momentum. They may be experimenting with new habits, building a support network, or actively working on their goals. They still encounter resistance or fear, but they’re more likely to push through it. They can begin to see results, which reinforces belief in their dreams. Support Strategies: Here, emphasize momentum-building strategies: tracking progress, celebrating wins, and refining vision into tangible action steps. Decision-making can be enhanced with tools like time-blocking, priority planning, or emotional regulation practices like breathwork or gratitude. 4. Condition Red – Somewhat Unaware Due to Being Under Stress Mindset/Emotional State: In Condition Red, the person is in survival mode. They may be actively pursuing goals but are emotionally hijacked by stress, fear, or pressure. There's a tendency to overthink, become reactive, or retreat into avoidance again. Emotionally, this shows up as overwhelm, anxiety, self-sabotage, or burnout. Impact on Dream Achievement: Progress becomes inconsistent or stalls completely. Decisions may be fear-based rather than aligned with vision. They may abandon big dreams in favor of "safer" or more familiar patterns. They’re operating with tunnel vision, unable to access the creativity and flexibility needed to stay on track. Support Strategies: Focus on nervous system regulation and stress resilience—introduce breathwork, grounding exercises, or routines that bring safety to the body and mind. Build emotional awareness around what triggers the stress response and how to reframe perceived threats. 5. Condition Black – Completely Unaware Due to Extreme Danger or Overwhelm Mindset/Emotional State: This is a state of emotional shutdown or chaos. The person may be experiencing crisis, trauma, or a complete break in self-trust. There's disorientation, paralysis, or panic—where even small tasks feel impossible. Impact on Dream Achievement: In Condition Black, dreams feel irrelevant or impossible. The person is in total survival mode and can’t access higher reasoning or vision. This may be a result of accumulated stress or external life crisis. Support Strategies: In this condition, trauma-informed care is essential. The focus should be on restoring basic stability—sleep, nourishment, safety, and connection. Avoid pushing for big breakthroughs; instead, help them regulate, rest, and return to self-kindness. Book:

Words can be deceiving. Some words are flat out energy drainers, and I will be pointing some out. Two words I am learning to be very careful of are: "always" and "never". These words can and in fact will diminish trust and credibility because they imply absolutes, which are rarely true in real-life situations. When you are trying to get ahead and make your dreams come true, the very words you use can make or break you even if you are not noticing these words. The changes can be very subtle but have a lasting impact on your progress. When you are on a journey to achieve your dreams, you don’t need anything to slow you down or make your journey even longer than it may already be. The words you use or are used when someone is communicating with you will have a significant impact on your progress. So today I will be diving into a list of 15 other words and expressions that will do just that, and I will also explain why this is the case. Quote of the week: “There is power in words. What you say is what you get.” Zig Ziglar Points covered: Ok so the first word I want to explore is: 1. "Guarantee" · Why it diminishes credibility: Unless you're offering a legally backed, unconditional guarantee, using this word can make you seem disingenuous. 2. "Honestly" · Why it diminishes credibility: When someone prefaces a statement with "honestly," it can create doubt—why emphasize honesty unless there's a reason to question it? 3. "Trust me" · Why it diminishes credibility: Trust is something that must be earned through actions, not commanded through words. If you have to tell someone to trust you, it can make them wonder if there's a reason they shouldn’t. 4. "Should" · Why it diminishes credibility: "Should" can come across as preachy or judgmental, making people feel pressured rather than empowered. It suggests a rigid approach rather than individualized guidance. 5. "But" · Why it diminishes credibility: The word "but" often negates whatever came before it. For example, "I really appreciate your effort, but..." makes the praise feel insincere. It can create resistance and defensiveness in conversations. 6. "Try" · Why it diminishes credibility: Saying "try" can make your message sound uncertain or noncommittal, as in "I'll try to do that" or "You should try this." It lacks the confidence that inspires trust. 7. "Maybe" · Why it diminishes credibility: "Maybe" introduces uncertainty and a lack of confidence. If you're unsure about something, your audience may feel uneasy trusting your guidance. 8. "Guess" · Why it diminishes credibility: A "guess" suggests a lack of knowledge or expertise. People seek life coaches for clear, well-informed guidance, not speculation. 9. "Probably" · Why it diminishes credibility: Like "maybe," the word "probably" introduces doubt. It suggests that you aren't fully convinced of your own advice. 10. "Just" (as in minimizing statements) · Why it diminishes credibility: When used to downplay a statement, "just" can make advice sound unimportant or trivial. 11. "Hopefully" · Why it diminishes credibility: "Hopefully" sounds passive and uncertain. People want confidence and certainty from a coach, not wishful thinking. 12. "Sort of" · Why it diminishes credibility: This phrase weakens your statements, making them seem vague and uncertain. 13. "Might" · Why it diminishes credibility: Similar to "maybe" and "probably," "might" weakens statements and reduces confidence in your advice. 14. "Thing" · Why it diminishes credibility: Using vague words like "thing" instead of specific terms makes statements less impactful and authoritative. 15. Let me ask you something, are you steering your ship or just riding the waves? This is going to make more sense as I introduced today’s current podcast episode. Everybody wants to be successful. But how are you getting there? Too many people take the easy way out. They don’t want to do the work. They don't want to make the effort. They seek what’s called the overnight success. Or what seems to look like an overnight success. But the reality is that there is no overnight success. Success comes after hard work coming to fruition. Seth Godin a very well-known and popular author was considered an overnight success by many. But he clearly states it took him 15 years of nonstop work of putting information in the form of a blog, writing books, speaking, doing many things over many years to suddenly become successful. The only place where success comes before work is in a dictionary. That’s it. But what if you had a way that you could cruise to success? When I say cruise, I’m not saying it is good to be easy, far from it. This podcast reaches many parts of the world. If you are in the US, this has nothing to do with politics. As you may know, Red and blue represent the two main parties: Democrats and Republicans. This started with an email last week that has had me thinking and I wanted to go deeper in this week’s podcast. And it actually has to do with one of my favorite movie series called The Matrix. Let me explain: In the 1999 film The Matrix, the protagonist, Neo (played by Keanu Reeves), is a computer hacker who senses that there's something fundamentally wrong with the world he inhabits. His quest for truth leads him to Morpheus (portrayed by Laurence Fishburne), a mysterious figure who reveals the unsettling reality: the world Neo knows is a simulated construct called the Matrix, created by intelligent machines to subdue the human population while their bodies are used as an energy source. Morpheus offers Neo a pivotal choice between two pills, each symbolizing a different path: Red Pill: This pill signifies the willingness to embrace the often harsh and painful truth of reality. Upon taking it, Neo's mind is freed from the Matrix, allowing him to experience the real world and understand the depth of the deception he was under. The red pill is hard, requires courage, and forces him to face his fears—but it leads to a life of purpose, success, and no regrets. It represents awakening, truth, and breaking free from illusions—much like the journey of personal growth and success. Blue Pill: This pill represents a choice to remain in comfortable ignorance. By taking it, Neo would return to his familiar life within the simulated reality of the Matrix, forgetting his encounter with Morpheus and the truths he was exposed to. The blue pill represents comfort, avoidance, and the illusion of safety, but it comes at the cost of personal growth, fulfillment, and realizing one's dreams. The blue pill may seem safe, but it leads to a life of "What if?" and unfulfilled potential. The red and blue pills have since become cultural symbols, representing the decision between confronting uncomfortable truths or maintaining blissful ignorance. Today I want to talk about the voices in your mind. The voices I’m speaking of are the things that you tell yourself, or that keep you from reaching your dreams and goals. Some people call them trolls. So today I want to speak exactly to this. Quote of the week: “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.” Theodore Roosevelt from his 1910 speech titled “Citizenship in a Republic” Points covered: First, I want to get into what these thoughts are, trolls. Let’s look at some aspects of this: · You are a normal person just because you have these thoughts, doesn’t there something wrong with you. · Everyone has these at some point other. · Their voices are familiar, and if not, they will become familiar over time. · The more you resist them, the worse they will get. Use Evidence-Based Thinking 4. Mindfulness Awareness 5. Limit Comparison 6. Journal Your Thoughts/ Track Your Wins 7. Visualize Success 8. Practice Affirmations 9. Take Action Anyway 10. Boost Your Day: Q&A Inside! Powerful coaching questions are the cornerstone of effective coaching, unlocking the wisdom within you rather than simply providing you the answers. The ‘most powerful’ questions always vary depending on your context. Every question has the capability of taking you in a different direction. Questions invite the client to find the answers themselves, my job is to help you, rather than think for you. A powerful coaching question will ignite your imagination. When you come up with the solution, the likelihood of implementing that solution or achieving that goal is far greater than if I just give you a solution. Even if your answers seem less powerful than mine, if you have come up with the solution, then you will likely achieve it. Quote of the week: Judge a man by his questions rather than by his answers: Voltaire Good coaching questions can do the following: • Stimulate reflective conversation and thought • Invite creativity and new possibilities • Generate energy and forward movement • Channel attention and focus inquiry • Evoke more questions Points covered: Now let’s dive into some examples of types of questions. By the way, example coaching questions are included in each sample below in the recording of the podcast: Scaling Questions: “On a scale of 1 to 10” questions Scaling questions in coaching are a good tool to find out things that are subjective or difficult to measure. They help quantify intangible things. STRATEGIC QUESTIONS Circular Questioning: What would your (insert relationship) say? Circular questioning helps to change perspective and gain a new point of view. It helps break free from old thought patterns and creates new ideas and solutions. Hypothetical Coaching Questions: “What if” questions Hypothetical questions are usually future-oriented and give you the client the option to think about a different point of view and new solutions. They stimulate creativity in you when you search for ideas and possible solutions. The Miracle Question: The miracle question is a great thought experiment in coaching. The focus is on the future, on the goal the client wants to achieve. Instead of thinking how bad the situation is right now, we switch the attention to how life would be after the problem is solved. Paradox Coaching Questions: What could you do not to…? Paradox means contradictory. Paradox questions in coaching aim to surprise you by aggravating the problem. The question exaggerates the situation and gets you thinking about new ideas and possible solutions. Paradox questions are a powerful tool whenever you are stuck. Solution-Focused Coaching Questions: Focus on strengths The focus question in coaching puts the focus on your strengths, instead of weaknesses. The focus is on competencies, not inadequacies; on “what can” rather than “what can’t” be done. The focus is on the solution, not the problem. Some other brief examples as well: THE BEGINNING: Build Understanding / Uncover what is important Establish Intent: Understand what you hope to achieve from your session Set Direction: Shift focus from what’s wrong to what’s possible This is only half of the total outline and a small fraction of 100 questions I have saved that I could ask. Minoru Saito (Age 77 – 2011) a Japanese yachtsman, became the oldest person to sail solo, nonstop, around the world in 2011 at the age of 77. 2. Fauja Singh (Age 100 – 2011) a British-Indian marathon runner, became the first centenarian to complete a full marathon at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in 2011. At 100 years old, he ran the 26.2-mile race in 8 hours, 11 minutes, and 6 seconds. 3. Teiichi Igarashi (Age 99 – 1987) Teiichi Igarashi became the oldest person to climb Mount Fuji at the age of 99 in 1987. 4. Nola Ochs (Age 95 – 2007) became the world's oldest college graduate when she earned her bachelor's degree in history from Fort Hays State University in Kansas in 2007 at the age of 95. 5. Benjamin Franklin (Age 81 – 1787) played a crucial role in the drafting and signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. 6. Harry Bernstein (Age 96 – 2007) published his first book, The Invisible Wall, at the age of 96. 7. Anna Mary Robertson better known as "Grandma" Moses (Age 78 – 1938) started painting in her late 70s after arthritis forced her to give up embroidery. She continued painting until her death at 101, proving that artistic talent can flourish at any age. Sugaring Off, one of her most famous paintings sold for $1,360,000.00 in 2006! 8. J.R.R. Tolkien (Age 45 when he started writing) the legendary author of The Lord of the Rings series as well as The Hobbit among other numerus titles. 9. Wang Deshun (Age 80 – 2016) shows that you truly are as young as you feel. At 80, Wang Deshun, a Chinese model and actor, walked the runway at China Fashion Week, earning the nickname "the hottest grandpa." 10. Johanna Quaas (Age 91 – 2017) a German gymnast, became the world’s oldest active gymnast at 91. 11. Masako Wakamiya (Age 81 – 2017) learned to code and created an iPhone app for seniors. Her app, designed to engage older users with fun and educational content, gained worldwide attention. 12. Stan Lee (Age 95 – 2018) the creator of Marvel Comics and Spiderman, made cameos in films and remained an active storyteller until his death at 95. 13. Betty White (Age 99 – 2021) remained active in Hollywood until her passing just days before her 100th birthday. 14. Patricia Morrison (Age 102 – 2018) became the oldest working Broadway actress at 102. 15. Dagny Carlsson (Age 106 – 2018) a Swedish blogger, became the world's oldest known blogger at 106. Nothing is easy, at least not in the beginning. The two hardest parts of accomplishing a goal are the beginning and the end. This is where most of the challenge lies. Today I want to bring you 10 ways you can make what seems impossible, possible. A lot of things were impossible until they were done: · Landing on the moon · Running and breaking the 4-minute barrier in the mile: fun fact, once done it has been repeated many times. From what I was able to find, as of June 2022, more than 1,755 athletes have broken the 4-minute mile barrier. · Space travel and so much more These are ten ways I want to give you so you can succeed in closing your own 18-inch gap. Ways to unlock your potential and open your eyes to what is possible if you only believe and put any or all of these ten points to work for you. Acknowledge Where You Are Without Judgment Start by recognizing how you feel right now—overwhelmed, scared, or frustrated. Resist the urge to criticize yourself for not being “further along.” 2. Reignite Your ‘Why’ Ask yourself: Why did you dream this dream in the first place? Often, the passion that birthed your goal gets buried beneath fear and doubt. 3. Shift ‘I Can’t’ to ‘How Can I?’ The words you use shape your reality. Replace defeatist thoughts with empowering questions like, “How can I make this work?” 4. Visualize the Finish Line Close your eyes and see yourself living the reality of your dream. Feel the joy, pride, and peace that come with success. 5. Rewrite the Story in Your Head What narrative is running on repeat? “I’m not good enough” or “It’s too late for me”? Challenge these thoughts by rewriting them: “I am capable, and my time is now.” 6. Commit to 15 Minutes of Action Daily Dedicate just 15 minutes every day to your dream, even if it feels small. Over time, those minutes compound into tangible progress. 7. Detach from the Outcome Focusing too much on the result can paralyze you. Shift your energy to enjoying the process instead. 8. Embrace the Power of 'Yet' Replace “I can’t do this” with “I can’t do this yet.” The word “yet” reminds you that growth is ongoing. 9. Create a Vision Board Put your dream into tangible form by creating a visual representation of it. Fill your board with images, words, and symbols that excite you. 10. Write a Letter to Your Future Self Imagine yourself a year from now, having achieved your dream. Write a letter describing how proud you are of the journey you’ve taken. Bonus points… 4 more because these are too good to leave behind: 11. Start Before You Feel Ready Waiting for readiness is just procrastination in disguise. Start messy, start scared—just start. Clarity and confidence come from action, not overthinking. 12. Embody Your Future Self Act today as if you’ve already achieved your dream. How would you dress, speak, and make decisions? 13. Write a Fear Inventory List every fear holding you back and address them one by one. Ask yourself, “Is this fear based on fact or assumption?” 14. New Year, new chapter, new verse, or just the same old story? Ultimately, we write it. The choice is ours. Celebrate endings - for they precede new beginnings. You probably know by now that most New Year’s resolutions fail within the first two weeks. In fact, 88% of people will drop their goals before the end of January according to Baylor College of Medicine. But what you may not know is how to end up in the other 12% of those who DO reach their New Year’s resolutions. Today I want to bring you some points that will help you have an amazing 2025. It turns out that the number three somehow showed up in every point I want to bring. It wasn’t intentional but it will certainly help you remember better as studies show that we best remember things in threes. Quote for the week: New Year's Day is everyone’s birthday. Charles Lamb Points covered: 1. A simple formula for success for 2025: Goals, a plan and Action. "Action may not always bring happiness; but there is no happiness without action." Benjamin Disraeli Success requires all three. Which do you need to do a better job in 2025? 2. What three and only three big goals will you set for 2025? ONLY 3! “Run it back. You’ve got this.” "Run it back" is a phrase that means to repeat or do something again. It is often used to suggest that something should be repeated or done again in order to achieve a desired result or outcome. The phrase is often used in casual or informal situations, and can be used in a variety of contexts, such as sports, music, or everyday situations. 3. Here are a few tips to help you continue making 2025 a strong year: · Prioritize Wisely: Focus on tasks that bring the most value. A clear plan helps you work smarter, not harder. · Protect Your Time: Block time on your calendar for what matters most — whether it’s holiday shopping, family, or finishing up year-end work.
