On the last episode of the Business Over Breakfast Show we spoke about the need to get ready for tougher economic conditions because in reality, there are two kinds of business, those that have had tough times and those that will have tough times. Learning how to survive tough times is so important and it’s not a skill that is easily learned. There is another interesting angle to this and that is we need to ask ourselves if we are leaving money on the table, every single day of the week? Sometimes the best way to protect ourselves is to increase how much we sell. What exactly do we mean by this? Are you losing sales or more specifically, are there products or services you could be selling that you simply aren’t? This shows theme came about after Andrew noticed a very popular restaurant in Melbourne had opened a serving window at the back of the premises where people could swing by and grab a take away coffee and some simple treats - and it has a long line of people ready and very willing to buy.
