"A lot of times, people have this ingrained idea that when you point a camera at them, they have to *do* something: They have to put their shoulders back, or smile a certain way. I think learning to notice and catch the off moments...that's when people are actually presenting themselves as they are. And I think a lot of people never see pictures of themselves like that."
