Today I sit down with a very inspiring human, Robin Pickering of Vancouver Island. Together we talk about how no matter where you are doesn’t determine where you can go. I’m so excited to also mention that Robin will be offering private coaching in the early part of the new year. “After living a life of drugs and alcohol, toxic relationships, no coping skills, struggling with health and habits that made me feel horrible mentally and physically, I’ve pulled myself out of this vicious cycle I was in. I had zero knowledge in health, nutrition, and fitness and was stuck in this “diet culture” mentality. I knew I needed a change and it took me years to get there, but I never gave up. I kept trying over and over again and managed to seek help with both my physical and mental health. Having lived both lives, I know it’s not easy and I can see it from both ends and understand what it’s like to feel like you’re getting nowhere. I want everyone to know that with a shift in mindset, some discipline, and guidance that aligns with you, you can truly achieve anything you desire. I want to be a part of other peoples journey who are looking to better their habits through nutrition and movement. With a holistic approach through nutrition, and my knowledge in training, I hope to help others get healthy, strong, and fall in love with a healthy sustainable lifestyle.” -Robin
