51: Anahita Joon: Divine Feminine & Embodied Leadership
Born during the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Anahita is a modern-day priestess, healer, and medicine woman. Anahita’s work is the culmination of over twenty-five years of intensive study with mystic masters and shamans, social research, as well as over ten years of her own teaching and facilitation. As a Feminine Leadership mentor, Anahita activates the sacred leadership of women who are ready to awaken and unleash the force of nature within, leaving no stone unturned. Anahita is a credentialed spiritual counselor. Beth Clayton (your host) is a soul-based life coach and TEDx speaker who loves to help open-hearted people break free from their own self-sabotage, outdated thought patterns, and past pain so they can deepen their relationship with their own soul’s intuition, speak their truth courageously and fulfill their most authentic desires. She knows that creating in our external world is all about going deeper into our internal world and finding our own liberation. She is the creator of multiple group programs, retreats, and transformational workshops, leading hundreds of truth-seekers toward finding freedom and ease in their relationship with themselves, empowerment in their lives, and the ability to take powerful and consistent action toward their dreams. In this episode, we dive into: Anahita’s journey from a childhood trauma growing up in Iran during the Islamic Revolution, to being on the path as being the youngest Landmark Forum leader in their history, to her divine spiritual awakening in her early twenties, to becoming a stripper, to going deep into devotional service and then helping women take quantum leaps in leadership. The link between the divine feminine, shakti, and unleashing erotic energy with as we rise into new levels as women. How Anahita found God/Goddess in stripping. Breaking the myth of the linear healing journey. The importance of embracing messy healing journeys, integrations, duality, with twists, dips, pendulum swings, and surprise endings. The healing aspect of being witnessed and seen, rather than doing the work alone in a vacuum. The connection between trauma release and becoming a clear vessel for spiritual gifts. Why embodiment exercises and energetic awakenings in the body are the missing links between mindset and spirituality work. Why we can be awakening and still have a lot of self-loathing and have trouble living in our full power. The importance of being a forever student. When we create a safe space and the right conditions, trauma wants to be released and has intelligence for how to do so, much like a baby being born. How learning to see ourselves through the eyes of the divine feminine and mother nature can make us unflappable as we rise in leadership. Why we need activated and integrated women more than ever at this particular moment in time.
