Vision and Vibes: Insights from the Arise Panel We’re diving deep into the power of vision and intentional living with Lisa Kai and Naomi Craft. Ice Breaker 1:41- What’s one word or phrase that encapsulates your current vibe? • Naomi: Down to earth • Pastor Lisa: Calm, consistent, solid 2:27- What is your go-to karaoke song? • Naomi: Caught Up in the Rapture by Anita Baker • Pastor Lisa: Ladies’ Night The Power of Vision Scriptural Anchor: Proverbs 29:18 - “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Living Intentionally 4:20- Pastor Lisa shared that she chose to live intentionally when her youngest daughter was three and preparing for preschool. After prayer, God revealed her next season was to work with women. Though initially reluctant, this led to the birth of Arise Women, now in its 14th year. She emphasized accountability, like publicly committing to a marathon, which pushed her to follow through. 9:33- Naomi discussed how her intentionality began at age 22 when she surrendered her life to God and started serving in leadership roles. Conferences and events became opportunities for personal growth and purpose-driven living. Habits for Visionary Living 11:08- Naomi reflected on trusting God’s plans over her own and how she navigates challenges through faith. Pastor Lisa added that when plans don’t go as expected, perseverance and trust in God’s timing are key. 13:50- Naomi shared her journey through infertility and fostering her nephew, which taught her to love deeply beyond biological connections. 18:00- Pastor Lisa emphasized starting each day intentionally with worship and prayer, avoiding distractions like reaching for your phone. She reminded listeners that God can fill the voids in their lives. Vision in Action 21:08- Pastor Lisa asked listeners: “What will you change or do differently for your vision to come to fruition?” She shared her own experience of becoming an empty nester and using this season to deepen her friendships intentionally. 23:52- Naomi highlighted the importance of community, both professionally and personally. She and her husband prioritize fellowship, as community provides encouragement, accountability, and spiritual alignment. Pastor Lisa acknowledged the loneliness of leadership and encouraged listeners to create and nurture their own communities proactively. Advice on Achieving Vision 29:45- Naomi advised breaking visions into smaller, manageable goals to avoid overwhelm.
