How do we stay on track when something gets us off course. Writing out tasks or chunking up the work into smaller pieces has helped get the big task done. I've been resetting quite a bit lately and that too seems to help with expectations.

Episode 93 - Kim Krapcha
Kim started her athleticism as a four-year-old. Kim has played several sports through her school years and hated running. Ironically, Kim now is an ultra-runner. Currently, Kim is a register dietician, RRCA Road Running Coach, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Coach and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Kim had great ideas to get past the ‘guilt’ of the holidays. Bring a dish to pass that you know that you’ll like and it’s healthy. Keep hydrated, take small bites of the foods that you want to try. Also, Kim reminds us to eat a normal breakfast, and the other meals can be a fun meal. One meal isn’t going to make or break our weight loss or performance journey. Kim does recommend limiting alcohol as there are empty calories, our bodies don’t like digesting alcohol and it’s not useful for us. Going into 2025, what can your non-pro athlete do to help get through the year. Staying hydrated is number one. Starting your day with water is start. Protein is also at the top of this list. Many people need protein consistently throughout the day and being aware of what protein you’re eating. Fruits and vegetables should be added to more diets. Frozen and canned are really good options as they’re picked when they have the most nutrients. Quality of food is the next level to work with. Snacks on the go don’t have to be hard. You can take a cooler with you and carry protein shakes, fruits, hard boiled eggs, egg bites, cheese sticks, protein bars, protein cookies, vegetables or nuts. I will be working with Kim on nutrition starting in February 2025. In with Kim has a nice ring to it, so stay posted on my updates through 2025. How does Mario work with clients that feel overwhelmed? Focus on getting clarity, what are you doing today and what do I need to do today or next week. Once you establish those priorities you can create a plan. You also don’t need to do everything all at once. Mario and I are huge process fans. We feel that the process is the real goal over the end result. It sounds odd, but we’ve found it to be true. When you hit that goal you feel unstoppable. Episode 77 – Joannie Rich
Joannie is the GOAT (greatest of all time) of 29029 Everesting. Joannie has completed 29029 Everesting nine times. Each mountain has a different elevation profile, so the number of ascents changes from mountain to mountain. Joannie has a present mindset during the 29029 events. Joannie doesn’t climb with ear buds. Joannie wants to hear the sounds of nature, hear the conversations around her and offer a helping hand when needed. This event is about cheering each other on. This is not a race, it’s a challenge, and that takes the competitive edge away. “I wanted to be in the action, I didn’t have to win, it just seemed like more fun out there doing it than watching on the sidelines which is why I enter everything. I don’t enter because I think that I’m good enough to win, I just love being part of the competition.” – Joannie Rich Is Pickleball for old people? NO! Joannie states that the learning curve for pickleball is much shorter than tennis or golf. The cost of entry is low, you can play in public areas and is inclusive for so many people, so it’s a bit easier to get into than other sports. Joannie enjoys traveling around South Florida to play in amateur tournaments. Last year Joannie and her partner played in the US Open of Pickleball in Naples, FL in the 3.0 division but lost in the finals.
