Interview with USA Rugby Naya Tapper I got the chance to speak with American rugby union player Naya Tapper. In this interview Naya talks about how she transitioned from running track to playing rugby. Naya was an All-American athlete at West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina Naya also explains on why she choose to attend the University of North Carolina. Tapper was selected to the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup squad where she helped her teammates reach the Semifinal. After a short break, she suited up once more for the 2017 Dubai Sevens Tournament where the Women’s Sevens won silver. Naya was among 12 women rugby players selected to represent Team USA at the . Kendra graduated from the University of Arizona where she received her Bachelor’s degree in the field of Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology in 2018.
