The Four Agreements- My Reflection.
he Four Agreements are: 1. Be impeccable with your word: Speak with integrity and honesty, using your words to spread love and positivity. Avoid gossip and speaking negatively about others or yourself. Your words is to be pure without sin or ill-intention. 2. Don't take anything personally: Recognize that people's actions and words are a reflection of their own reality, not yours. By not taking things personally, you can avoid unnecessary suffering and emotional turmoil. 3. Don't make assumptions: Communicate clearly and openly to avoid misunderstandings. Don't be afraid to ask questions and express what you truly want. By not making assumptions, you can create better relationships and avoid conflicts. 4. Always do your best: Understand that your best will vary from moment to moment, depending on your circumstances and energy levels. By always doing your best, you can avoid self-judgment, regret, and guilt. I came to realize how hard we are to ourselves when things don't go the way we intend. The memories of the specific act become a trigger and a reason to punish ourselves over and over and over again. Our tolerance to our own self abuse becomes a threshold to which we only react when it is crossed. In most case its higher and we take all kind of abuses from others, jobs, relationship and so on
