My Ayahuasca Experience From a Therapist's Perspective (Part II)
The story continues –join Mindrise founder, Bailey Frumen, MSW, LCSW as she discusses her recent experience with the plant medicine, Ayahuasca, as well as what integration back into everyday life has looked like. NEXT STEPS: To find a coach or become one, please drop in HERE: If you would like to rise, transform and lead, dive into the “90 Days To Elevate Journal” GET IT HERE NOW: Get in touch with us on: P.S. DISCLAIMER ABOUT AYAHUASCA: Ayahuasca is a plant-based psychedelic brew traditionally used by indigenous people in the Amazon basin for healing, spiritual, and religious purposes. It contains compounds such as DMT (dimethyltryptamine) and harmala alkaloids, which induce altered states of consciousness when ingested. Many individuals and researchers consider Ayahuasca to be a potent tool for personal growth, spiritual exploration, and therapeutic intervention. Some potential benefits attributed to Ayahuasca include: Healing Trauma: Ayahuasca ceremonies are often reported to facilitate the processing and healing of emotional traumas, including PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Increased Self-Awareness: Ayahuasca experiences can lead to profound insights into one’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, fostering self-awareness and self-understanding. Spiritual Exploration: Many participants describe encounters with profound spiritual or mystical experiences during Ayahuasca ceremonies, leading to a deeper connection with themselves, others, and the universe. Addiction Treatment: Some research suggests that Ayahuasca may be effective in treating substance abuse disorders by helping individuals confront and address the underlying causes of addiction. Cognitive Benefits: Preliminary studies indicate that Ayahuasca may enhance cognitive flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. It’s important to note that Ayahuasca is a potent psychedelic substance that should be approached with caution and respect. Ceremonies are typically conducted in a supportive and ceremonial setting under the guidance of experienced facilitators, often referred to as shamans or healers. The distinction between Ayahuasca as a medicine versus a drug lies in its cultural context, ceremonial use, and intentionality. Unlike recreational drugs, which are often used for hedonistic purposes or escapism, Ayahuasca is approached with reverence and intentionality, with the aim of facilitating healing, growth, and spiritual insight. However, it’s essential to acknowledge that Ayahuasca is not without risks, and it may not be suitable for everyone, particularly those with certain medical conditions or mental health concerns. Safety precautions, thorough preparation, and integration support are crucial aspects of responsible Ayahuasca use. Overall, Ayahuasca’s value as a medicine lies in its potential to catalyze profound personal and spiritual transformation when used mindfully and respectfully within a supportive ceremonial context.

We are conditioned by parents, family, school, the media, the laws, and even political and religious leaders. But, did we choose this, or is it something that we have been conditioned to do? Is this something I want to continue with, or does it come to battle with my own core beliefs? Gervase and Bailey talk about how women can heal their own traumas, discover who they really are and what they truly desire in life while parenting or managing a business. Life After The Pandemic: Mindrise RAW Conversations Series with Summer Deaver - Part 2
This is the 2nd episode of the 3-part series from the Mindrise Raw Conversations Series. In this episode, Bailey and Summer Deaver have a truthful and open conversation about the future of business and our new reality after the pandemic situation. They discuss the new scenario and where work is going. Plus, they will help you see and have a better understanding of what creating our own reality implies and how it affects the way we interact with each other. After the pandemic, the world of business shifted, and it is still quite confusing to see the whole panorama. They talk about the current ideas and concepts that became the core of this new era; how businesses are going back to finding connections. These changes are not just at a professional level, there is a deep personal change in people, so it seems almost impossible not to embrace it and start building our realities from that new perspective. What are we supposed to do? And what is the role of AI in all this? Bailey and Summer introduce the concept of Artificial Intelligence and how it can or might influence our lives. They open a different path to start questioning the value of technology and machines, and whether they are necessary to evolve as human beings or not. Finally, they invite us to think about our narratives, the realities we create as we explore life. They believe that curiosity is a powerful catalyst to build your reality and live your life the way you decide to do it, having the chance to explore and learn from the “I” and not from another person’s narrative. (00:00) Introduction (00:45) The future of business and jobs. (03:06) What is the role of AI in this new reality? (05:35) Explore and learn from curiosity. (12:05) Creating our own realities. Bringing Ourselves Back to Balance in the Face of a Patriarchal Culture with Melanie Joy
In this episode, Bailey interviews Melanie Joy, a coach who helps people tap into their inner selves, heal their Inner Mother to thrive in life. By embodiment of balanced energy, she transmutes stories to empower women and men to rewrite their stories from their Authentic Self point of view. Come say Hi to us over on Instagram Connect with Veronica over on Instagram Visit her website and Take Melanie's free material Pre-order her book Descent Wholeness Books The Heroine's journey by Maureen Murdock The Hero's journey by Joseph Campbell Summary of the episode Are things changing? Melanie Joy talks about how things change when we heal the Inner Mother and start living the life we want. She describes feminine and masculine archetypes, these energies we have in our bodies and that, in most cases, keep us from thriving because we are using them incorrectly. We can tell our stories by who we are and not by programming. Bringing that subconscious programming to a conscious level to respond from that perspective, knowing what was past history, so you can do things differently. On the other hand, working with masculine and feminine archetypes help us understand how we are shaped to start changing our narrative. Our hero/heroine's journey is not fixed, and it varies according to each person. In a patriarchal society it seems to be organic, and then we find lots of people not knowing who they are because they get lost in that programming. Healing The Mother within us, by giving her the place she has in ourselves, knowing what she presents to help us find who we are and what we want to experience in life. All the energies live in us, we need to get them all together consciously to become “whole” again. Cultivate the Inner Mother within us, the Mother Earth and the Great Cosmic Mother above us to heal the Inner Mother's wound to find where your passion, your work lies. Ready for more?
