Ps Alan Lamb - "The Abiding Spirit" Throughout the bible God has revealed HIs Spirit in different ways. In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit was placed on certain people for specific reasons and King David in his repentant heart asked the God would not take His Spirit away. Ps Harry de Vries - "To God Be The Glory" In Genesis 27 we see for the first time a phrase used by Jacob to his father Isaac - "The Lord your God". In Exodus we see for the first time God use the same phrase to Moses after the people rebelled into false worship at the bottom of the mountain and God tells Moses "your people" have corrupted themselves. Every church has a specific call and ministry and the people as the church create that difference with their specific call of God in their lives. At the age of 23 following the tragic death of a close friend, Patrick began to search for truth. While on holiday in Tenerife, Patrick’s questions were finally answered, and he encountered God in a way he had never known before changing his life forever.
