I am SO excited to share this super special episode with one of my best friends, Renee Petkovski. Renee has been THROUGH IT the last year and a half and she’s coming on to share her story. From knowing she wanted to be a pro dancer since she was 4 to living in NY, to Florida, to LA making all her dreams come true, to realizing her dreams were changing, to an injury that changed her life overnight and put her in a position to reevaluate absolutely everything. Renee experienced isolation for months because of this before the rest of the world did in 2020, and we talk all about what that time revealed to her about what really matters in life. We also talk all things spiritual growth and what were some of the experiences that have made us better people. I cannot wait for you to hear it! #38: Let's Talk About It: Racism, Unpacking My White Privilege, and How I'm working Toward Real Allyship
My friends, thank you for being here. I air this episode not to take up space centering myself and my story, but to be public and clear about where I stand and where this podcast stands. To hold myself accountable. As someone creating content and running an online business, I believe this is very important. I want everyone who comes to The Harmony Experiment to know what they’re coming to and what we’re working towards. I want everyone to feel safe here. I will do this messily and imperfectly, but I will do it. This was never meant to be a white only space and it never will be. I have so much to learn and so much work to do to improve and my whiteness will always reveal itself, but I’m committed to staying uncomfortable to do my part in educating myself and dismantling white supremacy and racism. Always open to hearing what you’d like to see more/less of on the show and how I can show up for you. #37: An Introduction to Human Design with Margaret!
It's finally here! If you know me personally or stay up to date on my personal page (@_margarethobson_), you know that I talk about this wonderful system called Human Design all the time. I have been quietly studying this framework for years ever since I discovered it, because it just provided so much validation and language to who I know I truly am, as well as for my loved ones that it resonated with. I have finally started offering readings because I want to bring this information to more people so that they can really integrate the valuable information and permission it offers you. Without being dramatic, I can say human design has changed my life, and it hope it has the same impact on you. In this episode we go into HD's origin story, how it has impacted my life, as well as an explanation of each energy type, their strategy, and a bit about the energy centers. There is SO much that HD encompasses, so we cannot get to everything in one episode, but this is a fantastic place to start and gives you so much to work with off the jump. It might be help to know your energy type before diving into this episode, so head to mybodygraph.com to grab that info if you'd like! To book a reading or if you have any questions about what a reading would entail, email me at or feel free to shoot me a DM @_margarethobson_ on IG :) To follow all things podcast, follow @theharmonyexperiment Much love! <3

Hello hello! I am thrilled to be sharing a conversation with you today with the founders of KLM Dance! We talk about their dance histories, what to expect when pursuing professional dance as a career and the right mindsets to have, how and why they came up with the idea of this program, how they've gone about marketing themselves and gaining momentum, growing a business with your friends, and what their goals are moving forward. Just a few short years ago I met Sarah Buxbaum while I was an assistant and teacher at a dance studio in Agoura Hills. She came to the studio often and we would always get to chatting at the front desk. Around this time, Sarah had just overcome a major challenge in business and career, and was starting a business of her own. This would become what is now Celebrate with Sarah, a successful desert table catering and lodging experience business. In this episode, we chat about the very beginning of her business, the challenges and achievements along the way, and what is next. We talk about going all in on your idea and taking steps even when you don't have a complete plan, as well as learning to enlist help and not trying to take on everything alone so that your business can actually grow. We also talk about Sarah's experience with celiac disease and what it's been like to maintain and grow her business even when she's had really difficult flare ups. #29: My Take On and Experience with the Concept of Manifestation
Happy 2020 lovelies! I am so excited to be back and bringing more realness to you on this show. I have some amazing guests lined up for this year and plans to expand this project even further. I'm pumped! Today I wanted to hop on to chat about the concept of manifesting. The idea of creating our lives intentionally has been around forever, right? Well, the sort of mystical and magical element of that and co-creating with the Universe, God, Source, whichever terms work for you, is kind of the gist of manifestation. There have been books written about this for years, but it has sort of gained mainstream pop culture attention in the last few years especially. I'm here to share with you my thoughts on that including our need to consider various levels of privilege and advantage and not bypass certain realities of being a human on Earth. I also share my experiences with intentional manifesting as well as elements of my process that have been working so far. I hope this is interesting and helpful for you and I'd love your thoughts! <3

#24: How Always Going the Extra Mile Comes Back to You Tenfold with Beauty Industry Leader Demi Passaris
In today's episode, I sit down virtually (thank you, Skype) with one of my longtime great friends, Demi Passaris, who is a leader in the hair and beauty industry and an absolute inspiration. Demi and I met in high school where she began her journey attending cosmetology school and entering the workforce educated and ready to roll while most of us were scampering off to college, afraid and unsure of the major we were forced to decide upon and what was next for us. I look up to Demi because she was very clear on her vision from a young age and her success has skyrocketed in the last ten years because of it. She is dedicated, perseverant, and incredibly talented. She shares so many valuable learning points in this episode that can be applied across all industries, and really leans into how being mindful of every detail of a client experience sets you apart from the pack. Her story shows us what patience, trust in the process, and being all in can do for your evolution. I know you're going to love this one! I mention this in the intro, but I just want to point out that the audio quality is slightly lower than usual because this was a remote interview, and it can be tough to make them sound sharp. Remember, this is all a learning process for me and I am a one woman show here doing my best to produce a great podcast, so I thank you for your understanding and patience as I continue to evolve in these areas! We then go into how science and spirituality intersect and how to work with the quantum field to create and connect in life. This is a conversation on how to work with the whole of who we are to become more and more centered with our true selves. #21: Experiencing Profound Loss, Moving Through Grief, and Making Peace with Death
Hi my friends. It's been a while since an episode has been published and a while since I've done a solo episode, but I found this to be very important and wanted to share. In the wake of the loss of my sweet pup Bruno, while it is fresh I am inspired to talk about something none of us want to talk about-death. I know for the longest time I was so afraid of death and anything to do with it because I didn't understand it. None of us fully do. I've experienced a fair amount of loss in my life, but the most life changing were the loss of my dad at 21 and now the loss of my cherished furry companion. I'm here to talk about my experiences in hopes that it can help all of us heal and make peace with the inevitable. I have found that witnessing death, moving through loss, and talking about it gave it less power over me. Understanding the temporary nature of everything gives it value, gives our dreams urgency, and makes us grateful. If you have or are experiencing deep grief, I hope this episode brings something, anything that can help. I love you and please get in touch on IG or at TheHarmonyExperiment.com to chat more <3

Becoming a Leader in Fitness and Embracing Exercise to Cultivate Mental and Physical Health with Jordyn Casey
I am SO excited to bring you this conversation with my friend, long time fitness instructor, and the Fitness Director of Set and Flow Yoga, Jordyn Casey. At just 24 years old Jordyn has become an incredibly diverse and dynamic fitness instructor teaching bootcamp, pilates, yoga, HITT, boxing, and cycle and now becoming a leader as the Fitness Director of the incredible Set and Flow Yoga right in the center of Hollywood. We discuss her journey of moving to LA from Nevada at 18 to pursue the entertainment industry, to how falling in love with yoga lead her down an unexpected yet incredibly rewarding path and career in fitness. I am honored to share Jordyn with you and if you are local to LA, definitely take advantage of Set and Flow's complimentary intro week of classes and see why I fell in love with this studio and all their instructors 3 years ago.
