RADIO FILM SCHOOL
This is the radio documentary anthology series about filmmaking, cinema, and the creative arts. Every week we bring you personal, passionate, and sometimes provocative stories from filmmakers and artists all over the globe; stories that will help you mature as an artist and find more fulfillment in your craft and career. NoFilmSchool called this "The filmmaking podcast we've all been waiting for." // Filmmaking is the ONE art form into which all other art forms are absorbed. Photography. Graphic design. Architecture. Music. Sound. Writing. As such, this is a show that will speak to the heart, head and soul of any creative artist.
THE OPEN MICERS
Just two guys who love comedy! The Open Micers podcast is a documented journey about two guys who love comedy and want to be great at it. The podcast simply tries to delve into the lives of several open mic comedians throughout North Carolina and what they experience on a daily basis. The topics on the podcast range from speaking about writing processes and our worst times on stage all the way to random DragonBall Z trivia and FetLife. You’ll enjoy this podcast if you’re starting comedy for the first time, have been doing comedy for a while, or simply love hearing about how comedians do what they do and navigate throughout the world.
DANIEL'S NEMESIS PODCAST
Each week I read a chapter from a novel I wrote as a teenager, 15 years ago. Afterwards, I dissect the chapter and look at how little I have changed. This novel is about an alien invasion right after the First World War, and is a mix of Blackadder Goes Forth, Independence Day, and Un Chien Andalou. That's right, this is not a good novel. Feel free to laugh at my teenage angst, or see this as a How To NOT write a novel.
HOW TO SURVIVE
'How to Survive' is a film review podcast with a twist. The discussion centres around one key question: 'How would you survive in this movie?' Each episode centres around one classic movie. Often, they are horror movies, but there are also lots of thrillers, action movies, adventure movies and the occasional romantic drama for good measure. If you've ever rolled your eyes when the victim goes outside alone; tutted when the killer returns from the dead; or shouted 'DON'T GO IN THERE!', this is the podcast for you. If you have ideas on How to Survive, or recommendations for films we should consider, send them over to: HowToSurviveShow@Gmail.com
