SOULISTIC MAMA RISING
Welcome to the SOULISTIC MAMA RISING Podcast where empowered motherhood meets health and healing. I’m your host Paige Rose, an experienced holistic fitness coach who gratefully got sober 12-years ago. I co-parent two boys under six so I know exactly how challenging mothering can be when navigating big family changes all while staying sober with grace and dignity. I started this podcast because I wanted to support moms just like me with the simple practical tools they need to thrive in motherhood, not just survive it. If you are a health-conscious mom who wants to level up your recovery so you can lead your most authentic life - you are in the right place. Every month, expect an interview with an expert guest, inspiring transformational stories and I'll drop solo minisodes along the way. So come on the journey with me, together let’s reclaim our power and make the world a better place for ourselves and our kids. It’s time for the Soulistic Mama Rising Podcast.
BEDTIME STORIES
Bedtime Stories by Ray Brown is full of creativity, adventure, passion, lessons and most of all great falling asleep. Recommended for ages 3+, bedtime stories are a collection of hundreds of stories that Ray Brown told his daughter every night before she went to sleep. Ray's carried forward this tradition from his mother but added his own unique creative touch and style. I know kids will love these stories and don't be surprised if parents also fall asleep with the kids listening to these stories. Please subscribe to this show to get updates. WHOSE STORIES?
Whose Stories? is a podcast about children’s books, diversity, and the role of archives, brought to you by Newcastle University and Seven Stories: The National Centre for Children’s Books. In the first season of our podcast, we’re exploring the story of children’s books and Black Britain. You’ll hear from authors, illustrators, and changemakers in the world of children’s literature, including the multi-award-winning writers John Agard, Valerie Bloom, and Beverley Naidoo. You’ll be introduced to Seven Stories’ unique collection of archival material and learn about why building a truly representative national archive of children’s books is so critical, and we’ll draw on the expertise of researchers at Newcastle University to put a spotlight on issues of diversity and representation in children’s literature and its history within these contexts. Ultimately, we’ll show you what we can gain from making children’s books more inclusive – and what’s lost when the UK’s children don’t find themselves reflected in the words (and worlds) they find on the page. Subscribe and stay tuned.
