SOME OF MY FRIENDS READ COMICS is a book-club format podcast about reading the great comic book stories for the first time. On each episode, your hosts will review a classic comic book story or run, examine how well it holds up, and figure out how it fits within the grand context of comics.

Three wanna-be actors take some time each week to share the highs and lows of starting out in the entertainment industry. They discuss their lives, loves, and the never-ending pursuit of happiness, which almost always includes a beer or two. The conversations range from informative to insulting, but all are (hopefully) amusing. And if anything they say offends you, don't take it too seriously - they're just acting out.

Vanessa and Meagan, the ladies of Feminists Watching Action Movies (FWAM), agree on four things: (1) wine is delicious, (2) women are underrepresented or misrepresented in action movies, (3) action movies are awesome in spite of this, and (4) it is really hard to keep track of what day it is.
