A very common fear among adults with type 1 is having a child diagnosed with T1D. My guest this week was diagnosed at age 7 and he says he held his breath each time one of his three children passed the milestone. But then, his youngest was diagnosed at age 8. Rachel has three children and started a business called DiaBeTees selling t-shirts and other products with fun diabetes sayings and catchy slogans.
