Limerence is an intense, sometimes obsessive state whereby a person becomes obsessively preoccupied with another individual, often accompanied by an overwhelming desire for reciprocation. It involves heightened thoughts, some idealisation of the person, and is linked to anxious ambivalent attachment style, in my opinion.
