Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results.
So these (are) two ways to look at this. So, the first way to look at it is, if you get a negative complaint in your business or negative review, first off nobody is expecting to be perfect so if you get a negative review, how you deal with that negative review is equally as powerful as getting a positive one sometimes so if you do the right thing by that person and explain hey we screwed up and here’s how I wanna make it right to you, handling those negative reviews are very very powerful and if all you have where a thousand glowing reviews and no negatives that would actually reduce the credibility of the positive one’s in the first place. So, getting a negative review is not the worst thing in the world. Now if you’re looking for a differentiator in your business utilizing negative reviews of your competitors of an industry is what I’ve learned is one of the powerful things you can do in your business in other words you go out find out what are the top five complaints that people have about your industry maybe not about you but certainly about your industry. You take those five complaints and you create--you create a product or service or a level of your programming that you say to them “I guarantee that those five things will never happen to you or I’ll give you all your money back”.
