The FAQ is: What is your favorite country to visit?
Today’s Special issue is on : Human centered travel
Today’s Mistake- Losing my gas tank
Travel Advice: Carry a Spare wallet
In this episode: FAQ What is your favorite country to visit?
Answer: Mexico. My favorite country, where I have traveled a lot, is Mexico.
Since 1973, when I went to Mexico City. Then 1977, Tijuana, then 1982 and afterwards, back dozens or more times. Why? It’s so closeby, but the culture is so different. It makes me realize that others have a new way to approach the world from their perspective, and not from my narrow experiences and expectations. I have a free mind when I travel to a new part of the world. Mexico stirs my soul with color and taste that makes me alive and excited.
Special Episode topic: Human centered travel
Human centered travel is about user choice, mostly by ability and interest.
Most travel guide books are about how to travel in a region, but not every location is right for every step or level of the traveler. My Travelbest book series is about designing travel around ability, or steps to travel as if it is a continuum. Start traveling at the step where you are and go up or down accordingly based on your desires at the time.
Human centered design for travel considers that we need to be connected especially when we're on the road. Often we need information on location, SUCH AS WHERE ARE WE GOING AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET THERE?

Today’s Mistake: Losing my gas tank
I saw sparks from my car in the rearview mirror.
Don’t drive a car with a gas tank held on by a chain.
Today’s Travel Advice: Bring a Spare wallet
Bring a spare wallet and put nothing of value in it in case you get robbed. Thanks for that tip on being safer in a place you could get robbed. Wear your valuables under your clothes in a place that’s hard to reach.
