Sea Hawkers Podcast

The Seahawks found their new offensive coordinator this week, hiring former 49ers assistant Brian Fleury. We frame our discussion by focusing on three different categories: what we know, what we think we know, and what we don’t know about our newest coach. We detail Fleury's coaching background, address the fact that Mike Macdonald is on his third OC in as many seasons, and how the team is maintaining continuity in several key areas. Additional coaching notes include Daniel Stern and Zachary Orr joining the staff from Baltimore. Support the show Get in the Flock! Visit Or visit our website...

From Day 2 of the NFL Draft, we provide full coverage of the day's selections by the Seahawks. John Schneider and Mike Macdonald made a move up early in the draft to take safety Nick Emmanwori. The South Carolina standout was a player many had linked to the Seahawks with the 18th overall pick and there were rumblings about Seattle trying to trade back into the first round to get him. Instead they were able to move up and still get him early in round 2.

With their other second rounder, they selected tight end Elijah Arroyo, a player that Clinton had been critical of leading up to the draft. Phil Lydick joins the show to provide his thought and analysis of the picks. Max Toscano of Remember the Tight Ends comes in to talk about the Seahawks selection of Elijah Arroyo and Adam celebrates the selection of Jalen Milroe and what it could mean for the future of the quarterback room in Seattle.
