The Awakening Women Show
What do you do when the life you've worked so hard to build is successful, but doesn't actually feel like yours? Welcome to a new season of Awakening Women and a deeper evolution of the work. For years, we've talked about relationships, narcissistic abuse, emotional addiction, boundaries, breaking patterns, leaving, staying and learning to recognize what is really happening beneath the surface of our relationships. But I've come to see that the relationship with a man is often the mirror, not the whole story. Because you can be successful, educated, capable and completely independent in the...

You've done the therapy. Read the books. Taken the courses. You can name the dynamic, diagnose the pattern, and explain exactly what's wrong — probably better than most professionals could. So why hasn't any of it changed your relationship? In this episode, we're getting honest about the gap between insight and action — the place where so many high-achieving women get stuck. Not because they lack awareness, but because awareness was never the thing that was going to save them. We're unpacking the "Rising Him" trap — why the same competence that built your career and your healing is the...

Episode Summary Love after divorce doesn't work the way it did the first time — and no one tells you that. This episode breaks down why midlife love isn't a fairytale, it's a negotiation. Why your partner isn't going to transform into someone new, he's going to become a more honest version of who he already is. And why real intimacy at this stage isn't about butterflies it's about honest and full disclosure. If you're navigating dating, partnership, or remarriage after divorce, this episode gives you the language for what you're actually building, and the questions you need to be asking...

In this episode, I cover: What the Law of Polarity actually says about energy, contrast, and charge — and why relationships without it go flat Jung's anima and animus: the masculine within the woman, the feminine within the man, and why knowing which one leads matters What the wild teaches us about polarity — from lionesses to wolves — and why nothing in nature survives on two things leading in the same direction at once Why a strong woman doesn't need a smaller man — she needs one secure enough that her strength makes him rise instead of react The truth about misogyny: why a...

info_outlineWelcome to a new era of Awakening Women.
For years, we’ve talked about narcissistic relationships, emotional addiction, boundaries, breaking the cycle, leaving, staying, and learning to recognize what is happening inside unhealthy relationships.
And we’re not leaving that work behind.
We’re going deeper.
Because eventually, the question stops being “What is wrong with him?” and becomes:
“Where have I abandoned myself?”
Your relationship with a man can be one of the most powerful mirrors of your relationship with yourself. It can reveal where you’ve stopped trusting your own knowing, where you’ve made someone else’s needs more important than your own, and where you’re still waiting for permission to be fully expressed.
This season is about what happens when you stop waiting.
When you stop outsourcing your authority.
When you stop shrinking yourself to be accepted or to keep the peace.
And when you begin building a relationship with yourself that no one else gets to control.
Welcome to the Modern Autonomous Woman.
Autonomy isn't about not needing anyone, becoming harder, colder or completely independent.
It is about self-possession. Self-bonding. And having your own back.
It is knowing what you think, what you want, what you value and what you will no longer betray yourself to have.
This season, we're going beyond relationships and exploring the six dimensions of autonomy: mental, emotional, energetic, physical, spiritual and financial, and what it actually means to own yourself across your whole life.
We'll go into the shadow as well as the light: anger, desire, ambition, money, sexuality, self-trust, discernment, relationships, identity and the parts of ourselves we've learned to suppress in order to belong.
Becoming an autonomous woman isn't always pretty, sometimes it means disappointing people.
Changing your mind.
Getting angry.
Wanting more.
Leaving.
Staying.
Starting over.
Or finally admitting that the life you've built no longer belongs to you.
This is about becoming your own woman.
And this is where we begin.
In this episode, we explore:
-
Why the relationship with a man is often a mirror of the relationship with yourself
-
Why getting out of a toxic relationship isn't the end of the work
-
What it really means to be an autonomous woman
-
The difference between independence and autonomy
-
How women learn to outsource their authority
-
Why self-betrayal, not simply “bad relationships” is at the heart of this work
-
The role of the shadow, anger, desire and ambition in becoming whole
-
Why this new season goes far beyond relationships
-
What the six dimensions of autonomy are and why they matter
-
What it means to stop waiting for permission to become the fullest expression of yourself
Your invitation
As you listen, notice where you're still waiting for permission.
Permission to want more.
Permission to change.
Permission to disappoint someone.
Permission to take up space.
Permission to make money.
Permission to leave.
Permission to stay.
Permission to become someone your old life may not recognize.
And then ask yourself:
What would change if I stopped waiting?
This is the beginning of a different kind of awakening.
One where you don't become someone else.
You come back to yourself.
You belong to you.
