Allowing yourself to settle into meditation.
Making any movements or shifts that allow you to relax and feel comfortable.
Beginning your connection to your breath.
Beginning to lengthen the inhale.
Soften.
Extend those exhale.
Allowing a sense of ease and release to travel across your face and down your shoulders.
Allow your body to feel a sense of settling in, sinking down, letting go.
letting your body sink down into the earth.
Gently and slowly, you feel the support and security of the earth cradling you, relaxing down into it.
Feel the coolness of the soil all around you.
You feel safer, protected.
Allow yourself to relax a little bit more.
And your body sinks down a little bit further into the earth.
Allow it to soften and notice that you feel smaller, tinier, completely surrounded by this earth,
moist and dark, smelling of life.
A gentle nurturing pressure all around.
With this smallest movement and wiggle, you notice that you have become a worm.
Tiny and smooth, simple, unfettered.
And despite your small size, despite seeming to have so little, you are moving the earth with every movement.
The soil and earth around you shifts, changes, is molded by your actions.
You move and the earth moves.
What you do nurtures life in other ways.
You are vital and important.
Allowing yourself to feel this worm who moves the earth.
And as you look ahead, you see that the scene in front of you is changing.
So you continue to wiggle moving towards and with the smallest movement once again the earth shifts and over your face you feel the cool water sliding across your body.
A flash of movement out and you are a fish.
Shining scales, sleek body, noticing your colors, noticing your fins and your tail.
You're able to speed and zip from side to side, flipping in any direction.
Noticing how fluid your movements are, how easy.
And as you turn to the side, you notice there are others swimming near you.
And you recognize them.
These others swim with you.
Some of them behind, some of them near, some of them far off in the distance or ahead.
allowing these others to represent your tribe, your school, your spirits.
All of these other fish around you move together with you, creating a beautiful synchronicity.
feel filled up by their support.
Noticing that sometimes you lead the school, sometimes you are a part of it, but always together moving free.
That feeling of support and love stays with you, but you notice that you have drifted farther away from the rest of the fish because up ahead once again is a light.
So you turn towards the light once more at the surface of the water.
and feel the cool movement as you get closer and closer.
With a rush, you jump out of the water.
Spread your arms and are now a bird flapping.
Wind rushing across your face, lifting and fluttering through your feathers.
You let out a great cry.
The sound of freedom as you soar up into the weightless air.
Free, easy, soaring.
The earth below is getting smaller.
But even though you are moving farther away, you see so much more.
Allow yourself to fly higher above the clouds.
Up into the atmospheres of space and beyond.
Soaring up, you notice your heart begins to get warmer.
Your body changes to a brilliant red and you burst into flames as a star.
A star, the birthplace of solar systems, the light, the energy of planets and all that can exist.
You are a star in the universe, a blaze and glowing, allowing your radiance and your power to shine.
And as you look through the vastness of the space, you see you are not alone.
There are other stars shining as brilliantly as you.
And all together.
You and all the other beings light up all that is possible.
