Recently, I heard an intuitive nudge that said, "Your listeners need to hear this one." In this podcast, I openly share my experiences, challenges, and the lessons I glean from them. One of the learning experiences for me was the time when my daughters and I got COVID. It was challenging, not only physically, but mentally too. Lean in as I tell you more about...

I ran a MARATHON! Woohoo!! You have no idea how long I have been waiting to say it out loud! Running the Honolulu Marathon was my dream and it finally came true. It took me nearly nine hours to finish it, so please don’t think that I ran the entire time. Either way, it was incredibly painful, and extremely satisfying.

As you can imagine, I had a lot of time to think while running. Specifically on one’s mindset during trials and tribulation. I decided to record some of my “musings” on the run and now I’m sharing them with you.

My biggest realization was how similar running a marathon is to our  journey toward success. Along the way, you will absolutely face challenges, disappointments, and triumphs. And it’s up to you to choose to observe your mindset, and reframe the limiting beliefs so you can accomplish your goals faster, or you can let them hold you back.

I hope this episode will help you navigate your own mindset challenges on your way to success!

In this episode, I chat about:

  • My experience running a marathon
  • Responding to obstacles and roadblocks
  • Do you make a mountain out of a molehill?
  • How do you perceive people around you?
  • Choosing a pacesetter
  • Understanding your influence on others, whether you are aware of it or not
  • What stuck with me the most from my marathon experience
  • If you were to die tomorrow, would you be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished so far
  • What success looks like to you
