About Bill Bidal

I am the Executive Director of Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity.   I have been with this organization since 2020.  We build homes and provide home preservation and critical home repairs for lower to low middle income homeowners and we strive to break the cycle of poverty with those that we serve through our work.  My organization includes resources focused on home construction, home repair, fundraising, marketing, volunteer services, mortgage services, and a Retail store that resells contributed home goods and hardware goods to raise money to help us build and repair homes.   We sell the homes we build with a zero percent mortgage and affordable monthly payments to people who are responsible, hard working and help build their own homes with sweat equity.  We have 25 paid staff and over 1500 registered volunteers focused on delivering to our mission.
