Despite graduating summa cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Human Development and having a brother who was a Physician’s Assistant and a sister who was a Medical Lab Technician, Bonnie endured 17 major surgeries (most unnecessary), spent over $400,000 in out-of-pocket costs, and was misdiagnosed for decades. Twice, she received last rites due to preventable medical events & medical malpractice.
Her experiences taught her that intelligence, credentials, and even the best connections in the world aren’t enough to navigate a broken healthcare system - unless you have someone who’s lived it themselves and learned how to beat it.
