- In Vinnie's day, the athletic kids played everything.
- You could get a ton of letters on your jacket.
- Vinnie had 4 for football, basketball, track, and field -- 16 letters total.
- They'd also get different champion and tournament patches, too.
- This worked for Vinnie! He got a D1 football scholarship to Tulane.
- It's good for kids to play many sports.
- It can often help the other sports, too.
- We should encourage this!
- Let kids play a variety of sports and love the game.
- Otherwise, you can really burn your kids out.
- Not every kid needs to get an athletic scholarship.
