The day also honors bubble wrap’s crucial role in protecting fragile items during shipping, highlighting its versatility and importance beyond just packing material. The history of bubble wrap is quite fascinating. Invented in 1957 by engineers Alfred Fielding and Marc Chavannes, bubble wrap initially failed as a textured wallpaper.
