And it all directly supports the show. The guy who does all the work. That’d be me.

Next week I’ll be doing a live performance of Jeeves and the Dog MacIntosh, by P.G. Wodehouse at the FanX Convention in Salt Lake City (formerly Salt Lake ComicCon). I’ll also be performing The Call of Cthulhu, by H.P. Lovecraft with three other narrators, and Asleep in Armageddon by Ray Bradbury. Finally, we’re doing a performance of War of the Worlds Mad Lib style, where the audience chooses half of the story. If you’re going to the convention, be sure to stop by.

If you had to look up the word mezzotint like I did, here’s what you’d find at Merriam-Webster:

1: a manner of engraving on copper or steel by scraping or burnishing a roughened surface to produce light and shade

2: an engraving produced by mezzotint

Today’s story has been anthologized and dramatized many times. It felt like an old Twilight Zone episode to me. I hope you like it.

And now, The Mezzotint, by M.R. James
