info_outlineNew year, new goals, right? So you've done it all:
- You decided to become healthier and fitter this year
- You improved your diet
- You changed your lifestyle
- You set realistic goals
- You hired a therapist and/or a coach/medical professional
- You cleared your emotional traumas and blocks
- You achieved good results...
BUT...
- You are still not losing enough weight
- You can't quite resist your sugar craving
- You are regularly eating too much processed food
- You are starting to think that you are destined to remain as you are
- You are blaming genetics, festivities, the weather, global warming, your cat and everyone else
- You simply don't have time to listen to extensive medical lectures to understand and solve your issue
If this is happening to you, I have good news. Sometimes, even after clearing all your emotional problems, we still desire and even crave certain foods. How come? Very often it is because we are wired to prefer sweet over savoury foods. And because of your biology, which makes us crave more of the wrong food with mechanism I will explain in the podcast.
Therefore, by understanding what happens when we eat someting sweet, we can regulate the timing and type of foods we eat, so we can work with our body to lose those cravings. By learning which foods affect our mood, appetite and sleep we can modify our pattern just enough to allow those stubborn inches to melt away.
In this tip-packed episode I will share the connection between sugar and the brain, following an amazing podcast episode from Dr A. Hubermann, an American neuroscientist and tenured associate professor in the department of neurobiology and psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine who has made contributions to the brain development and plasticity.
My summary will point you back to his 2 hour long podcast episode, but if time is a commodity for you, it will certainly get you started straight away with simple and effective strategies to kick those extra inches off for good!
