Lily moved to the United States at the age of 24 from Colombia. She served as a Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2007 to 2009 and today, she is running a write-in campaign as the green party’s gubernatorial candidate after Democrats sued to contest the signatures that were collected to get her on the ballot.
