Lizzie discusses regular menstrual cycles, typically 24-35 days long, changes in cervical mucus becoming clearer and more stretchy around ovulation, increase in basal body temperature by 0.3°C or 0.5°F after ovulation, increased libido and sexual desire around ovulation, and mild cramps and breast tenderness around ovulation.
Lizzie provides several actionable tips to help you optimise your ovulation and fertility. She recommends maintaining a balanced, anti-inflammatory diet, engaging in regular, moderate physical activity, tracking the menstrual cycle and symptoms, and getting the thyroid function checked, as these can all have a significant impact on ovulation.
