Soul Searching Girl Coaching
The time has come for me to say goodbye. Sounds like I am starting the song from The Sound of Music, but I am not. Wildflower, the time has come for me to hang up my Exmormonology & Soul Searching podcast. What a ride it has been. I really never thought I would say this goodbye. I hope you will listen to this podcast the whole way through. I believe in the power of coaching and I am not stopping my coaching practice, I am just completely changing my niche and moving on from all things mormon. I am no longer soul searching and I feel like I have outgrown this space. It is time to move on...

Life isn’t supposed to be easy, it is supposed to be yours. This week, we are continuing the conversation from last week’s episode, Trusting Yourself, Again. We talked about taking small steps toward the life you actually want. In this episode, we go a little deeper, because no matter what you choose, there is going to be some kind of hard. It is hard to stay stuck. It is hard to be depressed. It is hard to feel anxiety. It is hard to face the unknown. So what if “hard” isn’t a reason to stop? What if it is a sign you are alive and moving toward something that matters? Let’s talk...

What if trusting yourself didn’t have to be complicated? What if it could begin with one small promise kept, one quiet choice that builds confidence from the inside out? In this episode of Soul Searching Girl, we will redefine what self trust really means and how to build it, one gentle action (and thought) at a time. It is simpler than you think and more powerful than you imagine.

In this guided meditation, you are invited to lay down your emotional armor, the defenses you have carried to feel safe, seen, or protected. Together we will move into a space of calm where you no longer need to explain, justify or defend who you are. Let this be a moment to breathe, soften and allow peace to meet you exactly where you are. It is a gentle return to yourself, to the truth that you can change, evolve and still be whole. Inspired by Mandy Patinkin’s famous Princes Bride quote, this episode explores what it means to live after the struggle, after the heartache, after healing. “I’ve been in the revenge business so long, now that it is over, I don’t know what to do with the rest of my life.” What happens when the struggle is over, when the story you have lived by for so long, no longer fits? Amy Logan, certified coach and creator of The Wildflower Sessions, invites you into an honest conversation about identity, release and the power of choosing peace after pain. This is an episode for anyone who has...

In this follow-up to last week’s episode on worry and rumination, we’re talking about what comes after awareness. Noticing your patterns is the first step, but then what? How do you move from simply catching yourself in worry or rumination to actually shifting into trust, peace, and confidence? In this episode, I’ll share what it looks like to move beyond awareness, why your brain resists change, and practical ways you can start rewiring those old loops. If worry and rumination have been running the show in your life, this conversation will give you the next steps for reclaiming your...

Worry and Rumination are part of being human, but they can also keep us stuck in endless loops of “what ifs” and “should haves.” In this episode, I explore the subtle differences between worry (future focused) and rumination (past focused), why our brains default to these patterns and how they drain our energy. I will also share simple ways to notice when you have slipped into the loop and gentle steps you can take to begin quieting the noise. amyloganlife.com

Hey Wildflower, As we move into September, I want to help you lessen your worry and ruminating ways. It is so easy to get caught up in worry and then ruminate over all the things that can go wrong in life. This way of handling your life's worries often becomes a habit. It is possible to break that habit and learn healthier ways of dealing with life's difficult emotions. Let's start our month with another meditation, to slow down and increase your quiet mind. It is possilbe to quiet your mind, you just need to be in awarenss of the round and round of your own brain. Once you see it, you...

In this second part of The In Between, we go deeper into the space between where you have been and where you are going, the place that feels messy, uncertain and full of doubt. This is where decisions are made, boundaries are set and enforced and uncomfortable feelings rise up asking to be felt. Some call it limbo, but I believe it is more than that, it is a fertile pause, the ground where healing takes root and trust begins to grow. In this episode, we will talk about how to sit with the muck, allow yourself to feel and still hold space for the life that is waiting for you on the other side....
info_outlineI have been sitting with a lot of emotions, like many of you, I am sure. The state of the world right now is heavy, overwhelming and a bit surreal. Before we dive into today’s topic, I wanted to share some thoughts on that, because pretending everything is “normal” just doesn’t feel right.
Times are tough right now and this tells me that the work I do in the world is important. The work I do, the tools and my coaching, combine to help you not get pulled under by the weight of everything happening in the USA and the world right now.
Viktor Frankl was an Austrian neurologist, psychologist, philosopher and Holocaust survivor. I can't help but think of his words right now, as what we are experiencing feels similar. Viktor taught us that no one can take away the way we think and our attitude about our life. When I think of the unimaginable horror that he lived through, and millions of others, his words give me hope and a reminder to make sure we tend to your mind and heart.
And THIS is the reason I will continue doing my work, even though times feel very heavy.
And then, once we have grounded in that reality, I want to take us somewhere deeper, into the heart of self confidence. Not the kind that is all surface level pep talk, but the real kind. The kind that grows quietly from trusting yourself and having your own back, no matter what is happening outside of you.
I also want to introduce you to, or remind you, of one of my favorite coaching tools. I am going to walk you through my thought model, a tool to help you see how your thoughts create your life. I know it is much more complicated than that, but, let’s start there.
I can and will help you learn to manage your mind and heart, Wildflower. This is what I do. I would love to work with you and help you through these times.
