017: Abraham, Esther Hicks and The Law of Attraction

As per usual, last week Karen and I ran way over time as we discussed The Law of Attraction!

We WANTED to talk about the main principles of the teachings of Abraham and how they relate to the Law of Attraction and living a life of abundance, happiness and joy, but we never quite made it! So in this week's podcast we really go into them... even though we could have talked for hours and still had to cut ourselves short!

It was a whole lot of fun ... we seem to have been really enjoying our own path to joy anyway!

In this week's call we go through a Synopsis of Abraham-Hicks' Teachings, giving our own unique spin on things ~ as usual!
Plus the customary tips and techniques to help you live a happier more relaxed and flowing life!

So who or what is (or are) Abraham? Have you heard of them perhaps through the movie The Secret, where they first gained world-wide prominence? Esther Hicks was a narrator and star of the original version of the film, as well as a central source of the film's inspiration, although as we mentioned last week they are no longer to be seen in subsequent versions of the movie, (and you can watch Esther Hicks talking about why here).

For our purposes right now though, all of that is not at all relevant in order to gain a good understanding of their message.
A veritable who’s-who of authors, speakers and teachers continue to publicly acknowledge and praise the immense value of the wisdom that is pouring forth from Abraham through Esther.


Abraham has described themselves as “a group consciousness from the non-physical dimension” for our convenience (which helps a lot - not!) There is no physicality in non-physical so it is just an artificial analogy designed to help us understand the idea of consciousness with different intents.

When people ask questions of Esther during a seminar, the question itself attracts through her different consciousnesses that are most in alignment with an appropriate answer. So the consciousness that we refer to as Abraham is always changing in response to the answer that is being attracted through Esther. Clear?? The best way to really understand this is to search for Abraham on YouTube and watch what happens when people ask questions in a workshop and Abraham responds; there are literally THOUSANDS of videos and recordings to choose from.

You could say there is a core consciousness that you might term Abraham, which consists of Esther's inner being and other inner beings that are in close alignment with her. But ultimately you'd have to ask Esther directly for her own experience of what the essence of Abraham is!
Equally Abraham is a name. A symbol. A feeling. Esther herself calls Abraham “infinite intelligence,” and to Jerry, Esther's late husband, they are “the purest form of love I’ve ever experienced. I don’t know what they are and I don’t care what they are. I’m just using them for the good it will do for myself and others.”


They have told us through Esther that whenever we feel moments of great love, exhilaration, pure joy, stoned-out bliss, even the energy of sexual orgasm when we feel that Energy Flow rushing through our bodies, that is the energy of Source, and that is who Abraham “is”. They have also said, “We are that which you are. You are the leading edge of that which we are. We are that which is at the heart of all religions."
