info_outlineHave you ever come across the saying "What other people think of you is none of your business"? How much time have you spent wondering, or even worrying, what others' judgments are of you? What else could you be doing with that mental energy and space? How is that fear and insecurity holding you back from living with real purpose and passion?
As long as we live in the 3D model of the world, people WILL judge you. People WILL talk about you. People will project their stuff onto you. People will continue to gossip. Yet it is only what it is and can affect you only as long as you allow it so to do. It IS possible to detach and see it simply as the "theatre to entertain."
We often hold back from being fully ourselves or stepping out and living our purpose in a big way because of the fear of being judged and what people will think or say. So how DO you unhook from the paranoia and the need for other people’s validation and approval, so you become truly powerful and free?
Other people’s opinions do NOT have to become your reality.
Do not let anyone walk through your mind with their dirty feet!
So do any of these traits apply to you?

Have you become what is bluntly referred to as "a People Pleaser"?
- I try to be who someone wants me to be.
- I’m afraid to rock the boat.
- It is hard for me to know what I want.
- I avoid speaking my mind.
- I find it easier to go along with what someone wants or with their opinion.
- I fantasize about a strong person taking over my life and making it work.
- It is hard for me to express my feelings when they are different from someone I’m close to.
- It is difficult for me to say No.
- I avoid getting angry.
- It is hard for me to take initiative.
- I try to be nice rather than expressing how I really feel.
- I want everyone to get along.
Believe me, both Karen and I have identified with one or all of these points at one time or another although to listen to us today, you might not think so. It has most certainly been a journey of growth and transformation to own our greatness and quirkiness.... and it's still a work in progress like all of Life's Journey.
