info_outlineWhy is eating healthy so confusing? Many times we don’t know where to start or if we do start and pick a plan, we are then told this way of eating is out and some new diet is best.
Wading through the mountain of information online leads to even more confusion as we find ourselves asking: is gluten bad, what kind of dairy is good for you, what’s the deal with natural or unrefined sugars?
In this episode, Seth is joined by Taylor Morgan to discuss what functional nutrition is and how to use it to bring clarity to your food choices.
Taylor is a certified physician's assistant who also has her bachelor's degree in nutritional science. She discovered her passion for functional medicine at the beginning of her dietetics career, after using a functional approach to overcome hormonal imbalances, digestive complications, and thyroid issues.
Taylor describes herself as a lifelong learner and is dedicated to staying up to date with the latest evidence-based research in order to provide the best possible care for her patients. She has completed coursework through the University of Arizona and the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. She is an integrative and functional nutrition certified practitioner (IFNMT) and is currently undergoing certification to become an Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) certified practitioner. Taylor currently practices in Fort Worth, Texas at Taylor Dukes Wellness
