• Letting go of a habit that you want to change to a more satisfying one. #ChangeIsGood
• Letting go of a job or career that brings you a great deal of unwanted stress or self inflicted high expectations that you can do everything. #guilty
5 things that can help you to Let Go:
1. STOP obsessing over it….you know, where you say the same thing over and over again to yourself, each time getting more and more upset? Where does that lead? No where except more of what you don’t want…stress, overwhelm, depression and anxiety.
2. Do SOMETHING…take one little action toward what you want. We tend to be over-stimulated by our obsessive thoughts and once we STOP them…even for 5 seconds….take one small action to pull you through.
3. Stop labeling what just happened as bad or you’re not good enough because you should be able to do everything.
4. Maybe you need to talk to someone to help you get started with “letting go.”
5. Stay PRESENT to right now….know that you have the power to take one small action now. Let Go and Let Be!
Bonus: Delegate…give it to someone else to do or simply not involve yourself in it.
