Music marketing is starting to morph thanks to the Grateful Dead who re-invented the direct-to-fan business the previous year, but music production is still hitting an unsurpassed low, almost everywhere. It might come as a surprise to everyone following this series of mixes of cover songs all recorded or released the same year, but there's no much sense in keeping on digging for many more months through mid-1980s music, while there's so much quality music from other periods… Which is why we've decided to hurry things up a little bit, with a mix gathering covers released between 1985 and 1987.
