Summary
Hosea 11 reveals one of the most emotional portraits of God in the entire Old Testament—a Father teaching, correcting, grieving, and still loving children who continually walk away. God describes himself not as distant or cold, but as patient and compassionate, repeatedly teaching his people to “walk” in obedience and dependence. Yet the chapter also exposes the heartbreak of rebellion as Israel continually resists truth and pursues its own way.
