WHEN LOVE MEETS BOUNDARIES - 58 show art WHEN LOVE MEETS BOUNDARIES - 58

BroKen & Believing | Rev. Kenn Blanchard

Every one of us knows what it feels like to love people who don’t always love us back. Some of the deepest wounds don’t come from strangers — they come from kinfolk. People who share our blood but not our values. People who take our time, drain our peace, and expect access without accountability.   The Bible does not hide this reality. It speaks honestly about takers, users, manipulators, and relatives who bring strife instead of peace.   Today’s message is not about bitterness. It’s about clarity, wisdom, and boundaries that honor God.

Life is Life. Perspective is Everything show art Life is Life. Perspective is Everything

BroKen & Believing | Rev. Kenn Blanchard

BroKen & Believing | Rev. Kenn Blanchard

Brokenness in the Bible is not a curse but a doorway to grace: it teaches us humility, repentance, and dependence on God, opening the way for healing and transformation.   • Brokenness as Humility and Repentance Psalm 51:17 declares, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” This shows that God values a heart that admits weakness and turns back to Him Bible Hub +1. • Brokenness Precedes Renewal The Bible often portrays brokenness as the moment before restoration. In the Bible, Matthew 12:43–45 states that an evil spirit that leaves a person goes to arid places in search of rest, but finds none. It then says, "I will return to the house I left". When it arrives, it finds the house clean and in order, and then takes seven more wicked spirits with it, and they live there. The final condition of that man is worse than the first.

John 14:31) Seeing then they had not the protection of Angels, and were burdened with the useless observances of the Law, and the traditions of the Pharisees, the Devil returns to his former dwelling, and, taking to him seven other demons, inhabits it as before.

43 “When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also will it be with this evil generation.”
