410 – Spiritual Perception and Awareness

God bless you abundantly in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

 

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened;” means growing your spiritual perception and awareness. That's what this week's podcast is going to teach us. How to develop a spiritual perception and awareness.

Continuing with that figure of speech, we must remember that the Bible is an Eastern book and needs to be seen from Eastern eyes with spiritual perception. 

A spiritual person from the East in the times of the Bible looks at many things as a service to God, like helping strangers. They may be angels unaware. Also, at weddings and funerals, they would attend those functions thinking they were doing a service to God. They would be praising and honoring God and serving God. They were humbling one another by blessing one another by saying to each other, “May God bless you, may God bless you.” Knowing that God will bless them. To grow in spiritual perception and awareness means to grow in spiritual understanding. To do that means reading and studying God's Word while praying as you go through life.
